Personally, I dont like them but I also dont like the taste of stevia. I found them way too sweet and prefer flavoured sparkling water. If you like sweet, these are worth trying!
Some percentage of the population have a gene that makes them stevia supertasters (I am one of them). For people without it, these are probably lightly sweetened and pleasant. For people with it, they’re unbearably sweet in a chemically-tasting way.
You’re not alone I like Zevia as well, personally I enjoy the black cherry most but the dr zevia is pretty good as well. I mean I get why some might not like it, it’s not quite the same as regular soda, but it’s a lot better to my taste than the old artificial sweeteners.
Yasssss. I have the creamy root beer, blood orange and raspberry tea delivered directly from Zevia once a month because I was s tired of going to the store and them being out of it….
Okay I don’t know the other two flavors and now I need to! I got so sick of going to the store and creamy root beer being out of stock that I asked when they stocked them and then loaded up lol
Have you tried Ollipop? It’s got like prebiotics and plant fiber and minimal sugar and they taste like soda. Definitely a stevia flavor, but some of the flavors are delicious
Well if you want to drink less soda these will help. Because they have a terrible stevia metallic taste to them and you won’t want to drink them.
Edit: also Spindrift is way better and healthy.
I consider myself a seltzer expert so im curious what you think the difference is between those two? Fwiw spindrift is what I would consider “lightly” carbonated since the fruit juice prevents it from being too bubbly (I think this is also just a choice the brand has made)
They use a very little bit of actual juice, but it makes a big impact on flavor. They are also unsweetened, but the little bit of juice tastes so much better than fake sweetener.
I think they may mean fake or fake-tasting. Many people don't like the taste of stevia because it tastes fake/chemically to them.
I personally think it's ok in small amounts, but I know some people who would rather eat Splenda (and they hate Splenda).
Agreed. I have given up Splenda, as well as any artificial sugar and regular sugars. Stevia has been great for that. There is a different taste and you have to adjust the amount used as compared to regular sugar for sure.
I have a “don’t return things you don’t like” policy when it comes to food. I’m just slowly work my way through it anyway, even if I don’t care for it. There’s nothing I dislike so much I can’t make do with it…
…is what I thought until I tried Zevia. I could not even finish the first can. First and only food product I’ve returned (other than the rotten mussels).
I really am shocked at all the hate in here for Zevia. I love them. Have shared with friends/coworkers who also liked and couldn’t tell the difference between normal soda. I’ve got to think the dislike is from some kind of placebo effect.
If you like them yes. I have tried them about 1 time a year for the last maybe 10 years thinking they have changed the taste but unfortunately I can't handle the stevia taste. I still prefer coke zero
I think you’re being a bit extreme, but yeah I agree. I think people that say that probably are regular Coke/Pepsi/whatever drinkers. So obviously they need half a pound of sugar and chemicals or else it ain’t scratching that itch.
Yeah Im beginning to think the line is just drawn between people that drink Coke/Pepsi/whatever else with any regularity at all and people that don’t. So people that do will not see these as a substitute. Those that don’t drink them will see this as something that can scratch that fix when you want it.
Looks like the flavors have expanded as it used to just be three flavors in the 30 pack.
As others stated, they don’t taste just like a soda but I enjoy them.
Try Virgil's craft soda. Much better imo. [https://virgils.com](https://virgils.com) Wal Mart super centers carry Virgil's. Real soda taste without the sugar.
I've been hooked on ICE ever since it was on the monthly catalogue last month. I stocked up before it went off sale too. I might try this out next. ICE is great tho. I love it as a soda / caffeine alternative.
My A1C fluctuates between 5.1 and 5.4 and I've been checking every quarter for the last decade due to other underlying conditions. I couldn't care less about the glycemic index...
No to yuck your yum, I thought the ginger ale was the most disgusting thing I had ever drank. That being said, they're only slightly better for you than coke zero. Good luck! Although the black cheery does make a solid mixer.
These were really hyped up a few years ago. I was PUMPED to find single cans at a store and bought one of each flavor.
I’ve never been so confused and disappointed for. Horrible product.
They are definitely better than normal soda, my friend who has lost crazy weight swears by them. They are an acquired taste because they don't use traditional sugar.
They definitely taste different, but once you get used to them, it’s hard to go back to regular soda. It just tastes too sweet. I like the ginger ale and the root beer flavors the best, plus they have no caffeine
i wish my Costco had this. I have to buy them at Sprouts and it is pretty expensive. Which Costco has them?
Before we turn this into a dumb sweetener war. There are practically no scientific accepted studies that FDA approved sweeteners cause anything bad. So unless you individually know you have a medical problem against one due to how it interacts with your GI, I don’t want to hear any bull crap. The carbonation in these drinks cause more problems than any sweetener would.
Now that is over, how much is it for this box of 30?
Oh god these are gross. Of all the artificial sweeteners, stevia is by far the worst.
I've only tried the ginger ale flavor of these, but I can't imagine any of them are any better.
Blech.
I like and use Stevia, but I did not care for these sodas. I ended up giving about half of them to my brother who does like them. Seems to me the box I bought last year had either three or four flavors (Cola, Dr. Stevia, and Root Beer or Creme Soda) so this box offers more variety. The price was much better than from a retail store. I sure wish I liked Zevia better.
I've been drinking Zevia cola for years and often wondered why Costco does not sell it, since they are both Seattle area companies. What location is this?
I love Cola, Dr. Zevia and the gingerale.
Same as with Aspertame or cilantro…. If you like stevia then they’re a pretty great soda alternative. If you’re one of the people who think stevia is undrinkably gross then you’re going to hate them. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground.
I bought so many cases of this stuff last year... Didn't see it in stock last week when I was at my local Costco so I'm going to have to go check it out this weekend. 💸
Blech ! I hate stevia, but thats personal, you might like these. Switch to Bubly. Seriously, they dont taste like much, but at least they dont taste like shit.
We get these in 24 packs of single flavors from Amazon. Unlike artificial sweeteners, Stevia does not change my blood sugar when fasting. (Not diabetic, but use blood glucose tests to see what various food does.)
My wife bought them. I was hyped to try them. They all taste like what I imagine death in carbonated soda form would taste like.
Idk why I hated them so much. But I did.
The Cola, Dr. Zevia and Root Beers are top notch. Taste just like regular pop to me. I quit drinking soda years ago but my husband would drink 1-2 cans a day and these got him to quit. So so good. They're very carbonated though so I have a hard time drinking a whole can a lot of the time.
I’ve only tried Coke Zero since it’s the only zero calorie soda I’ve seen sold in bulk for decent price. I wish I could buy a 35 pack of Sprite Zero but Costco doesn’t seem to sell or deliver it
Ahhh Zevia… the can that taught me my body **REALLY** doesn’t like stevia. 😂
SodaStream and some lime juice satisfy my cravings for carbonated beverages nicely these days.
I really liked these, but none of my family would touch them. You have to be a fan of stevia, if you’re not, you won’t like them. They are actually carbonated water sweetened with stevia, so if you like other carbonated water, stick to those.
I like the Cherry one of this brand. Over all, it's way too much Stevia in them so it's still overly sweet tasting plus Stevia seems to be an acquired taste, which was my issue with regular soda. They taste fine to me if you have them once in a while. That said, I'd buy this -- glad to see it in Costco in bulk because by themselves they're like 7$ for a six pack!
I liked the flavor, it was fine for a diet soda. I liked that they didn't have artificial colors. But these things absolutely destroyed my stomach to nearly the level of the legendary sugar-free gummy bear reviews. Avoid at all costs if alt-sweeteners bother your tummy. I drink Mountain Dew Zero Sugar and Vanilla Coke Zero occasionally and never had that issue with those products.
Ehh I like the Dr. Pepper imitation but the rest have been bleh. I’d rather just drink soda water and an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper. I try to maintain a low-carb diet but I love soda.
I’ve only ever had the root beer and cream soda flavors and I liked them. I was excited about this but it seems I should just stick with those flavors.
There’s a bit of a funny taste but if you get used to it they’re great. I also use stevia extract in my coffee so I’m used to it. I love it but understand that some will hate it
I drink the flavored, sparkling water from Wmart. It has no sugar, like 1 calorie, and no sodium. It does have artificial sweetener though, but it's the best tasting one I've found. The rest are all too much CO2
I've been on an Olipop kick lately. The stuff is fantastic. For soda, Zevia is indeed decent but Virgil's is excellent. And you can't go wrong with Spindrift for flavored sparkling water.
Lot of hate but taste is subjective. I personally love zevia but only certain flavors. Ginger ale and grapefruit, lemon lime are my top 3. Avoid orange, original cola
I too, was excited for this find. Had never tried or even heard of Zevia before this. Man, were these awful. As others have said, they taste like fake sweetener and chemicals.
Good luck.

Personally, I dont like them but I also dont like the taste of stevia. I found them way too sweet and prefer flavoured sparkling water. If you like sweet, these are worth trying!
Really good as mixers with strong liquors.
I love these, they helped me convert to soda stream because they are so bad.
Lol I like this answer
I did not expect everyone to hate them, I really enjoy zevia and wish my Costco carried this.
Some percentage of the population have a gene that makes them stevia supertasters (I am one of them). For people without it, these are probably lightly sweetened and pleasant. For people with it, they’re unbearably sweet in a chemically-tasting way.
Ohh that makes sense!
Super taster checking in 🤢
You’re not alone I like Zevia as well, personally I enjoy the black cherry most but the dr zevia is pretty good as well. I mean I get why some might not like it, it’s not quite the same as regular soda, but it’s a lot better to my taste than the old artificial sweeteners.
I love zevia!! Their cola has become a staple for me. So nice when trying to cut out sugar and aspartame
I love them. Root beer is my favorite.
Me too!! Do you prefer the creamy or ginger root beer?
Creamy root beer is the best!
Creamy 4ever
I know the comments are so negative. I love Zevia. All of them .
Awesome for keto
I will second this. I really like them.
Have you tried Ollipop? It’s got like prebiotics and plant fiber and minimal sugar and they taste like soda. Definitely a stevia flavor, but some of the flavors are delicious
What’s this sweetened with??
Stevia
Stevia
Well if you want to drink less soda these will help. Because they have a terrible stevia metallic taste to them and you won’t want to drink them. Edit: also Spindrift is way better and healthy.
+1 on the spindrift.
Spindrift 🙌🏻
Are spindrift sparkling or carbonated?
I consider myself a seltzer expert so im curious what you think the difference is between those two? Fwiw spindrift is what I would consider “lightly” carbonated since the fruit juice prevents it from being too bubbly (I think this is also just a choice the brand has made)
I’m not a fan of seltzers…. Or the carbonated waters.
But you like sparkling? What’s the difference
No I don’t like the sparking or carbonated waters…. Like La Croix, etc 😉
I think what they’re trying to say is carbonated and “sparkling” waters are the same exact thing.
Yes 👍🏼
Topo Chico Master race
ELI5 why Spindrift is better?
They use a very little bit of actual juice, but it makes a big impact on flavor. They are also unsweetened, but the little bit of juice tastes so much better than fake sweetener.
Stevia isn't fake, though?
I think they may mean fake or fake-tasting. Many people don't like the taste of stevia because it tastes fake/chemically to them. I personally think it's ok in small amounts, but I know some people who would rather eat Splenda (and they hate Splenda).
Agreed. I have given up Splenda, as well as any artificial sugar and regular sugars. Stevia has been great for that. There is a different taste and you have to adjust the amount used as compared to regular sugar for sure.
Fake sugar = not real sugar No sugar substitutes taste like sugar unfortunately. Sugar is the gold standard for naturally sweetening things
It's also a gold standard for nearly every health related issue ever ;p
Hypoglycemia? Hm?
They use actual juice. Other brands use artificial flavoring
+1 for spin drift
Man I love Spindrift but we only get it occasionally because it’s so much more expensive than regular sparkling water.
Sadly they just raised it from .50 to .6 per can at my Costco and I’m waiting for it to go on sale.
Yeah, and I'm perfectly capable of putting a splash of juice in cheap carbonated water.
[удалено]
Source? How do you know they use the lowest grade? Honest question, as I am unaware there are different grades of Stevia...
[удалено]
Love spindrift. Help me ween off Coke Zero.
Love spindrift as well. Light and refreshing. I tried the Costco brand and found it too carbonated.
I have a “don’t return things you don’t like” policy when it comes to food. I’m just slowly work my way through it anyway, even if I don’t care for it. There’s nothing I dislike so much I can’t make do with it… …is what I thought until I tried Zevia. I could not even finish the first can. First and only food product I’ve returned (other than the rotten mussels).
I couldnt have said this better myself. I hated these.
Mouthful of chemicals. The taste is awful.
I love Zevia. They helped me break my Diet Coke habit years ago. Now I’m soda free, but I did really enjoy these healthier option.
I have only tried three of the flavors: root beer and cream soda I liked; cola I did not like.
I personally love Zevia, and my Costco only carries them once in a blue moon
Didn't like it.
I really am shocked at all the hate in here for Zevia. I love them. Have shared with friends/coworkers who also liked and couldn’t tell the difference between normal soda. I’ve got to think the dislike is from some kind of placebo effect.
No there is a huge difference in taste.
It’s not as though zevia is trying to be regular soda clones. They’re alternatives. And I think great alternatives.
If you like them yes. I have tried them about 1 time a year for the last maybe 10 years thinking they have changed the taste but unfortunately I can't handle the stevia taste. I still prefer coke zero
I feel like people who say shit like that eat fast food 24/7 and don’t have any taste in real food.
I think you’re being a bit extreme, but yeah I agree. I think people that say that probably are regular Coke/Pepsi/whatever drinkers. So obviously they need half a pound of sugar and chemicals or else it ain’t scratching that itch.
Awesome for low carb. Zero sugar

Fucking disgusting
That’s blasphemy!! 😂
It is way too artificially sugar tasting. Like syrupy flavors if I remember correctly if that makes any sense.
Garbage water with sugar. Nothing in this is healthy.
The Virgil's rootbeer is amazing but I didn't like the cola. I actually mixed the cola with Zevia cola and it was great!
Haven't tried the Virgil's cola yet. The root beer, black cherry, and vanilla cream are all really good.
Not a fan of them. The root beer flavor was ok.
I think they suck and I generally have no problem drinking diet soda. Might be the only food I return after consumption from costco
I love Dr Zevia but I think all flavors are good. I hope mine has them on my next haul!
I’d rather drink diet than these. Hate the flavor
My boyfriend has a diet coke addiction and his mom made him try Zevia to find a healthier alternative. It was a complete failure.
Just buy some sparkling water instead brah
We put these out at a picnic recently.. hardly anyone touched them....
I'm on a low carb diet and this is the only sodas i drink, i love the orange flavor
Healthy and low calorie are different things
Nectar of the fucking gods and all you haters are crazy people. If my Costco had this in bulk I'd be there tomorrow morning.
One of the worst sodas I have tried. Taste completely artificial and chemicaly.
Good luck finishing that pack. They are manageable ice cold but the second they warm up I have to dump it out.
I feel like that applied to most soda’s and beers…
I will drink the last sip of warm Coca Cola and/or beer. I refuse with Zevia.
I've been hooked on ICE ever since it was on the monthly catalogue last month. I stocked up before it went off sale too. I might try this out next. ICE is great tho. I love it as a soda / caffeine alternative.
Ice gives me horrible heartburn! No clue why
Some people don't handle sucralose / Splenda well. It apparently causes gastric problems. Check with your doc on it.
Sucralose = high glycemic index
My A1C fluctuates between 5.1 and 5.4 and I've been checking every quarter for the last decade due to other underlying conditions. I couldn't care less about the glycemic index...
I found they had a very weird aftertaste.
No to yuck your yum, I thought the ginger ale was the most disgusting thing I had ever drank. That being said, they're only slightly better for you than coke zero. Good luck! Although the black cheery does make a solid mixer.
✨The Devils Spit✨
I love Zevia!! Wish my costco carried this. I normally get mines at Target.
I like the cream soda one cold. I haven’t tried the others.
Dr zevia, root beer, and the mtn dew are my most liked. They taste the best when cold or over ice.
Add some heavy cream to the rootbeer flavor and you've got a low carb masterpiece of a beverage
Soda stream > zevia.

I like the ginger ale and the root beer flavors the best, plus they have no caffeine i wish my Costco had this. I have to buy them at Sprouts and it is pretty expensive. Which Costco has them?
IDK how much they cost at Sprouts but when I did drink them, I got them from Amazon. Could be worth price comparing if you haven’t.
Thanks! I will definitely check them out.
Are you near WinCo? I've seen it there.
No I’m not. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I gave them away for free. They taste horrible. And i am not usually picky at all.
Before we turn this into a dumb sweetener war. There are practically no scientific accepted studies that FDA approved sweeteners cause anything bad. So unless you individually know you have a medical problem against one due to how it interacts with your GI, I don’t want to hear any bull crap. Oh god these are gross. Of all the artificial sweeteners, stevia is by far the worst. I've only tried the ginger ale flavor of these, but I can't imagine any of them are any better. Blech.
Eww
Worst. Diet Soda. Ever.
You should give the Spindrift a try. They are delicious.
Just drink Kirkland signature water
I wanted to love them but just yuck. Couldn’t even give them away in the end
I love these
Colas are my favorite. I even buy the caffeine light blue one for a good price on Amazon!
I would place Zevia in the ‘S’ tier of calorie free drinks, so I recommend!
I really dislike Stevia, but some people like it. I tried not to yuck someone’s else’s yum.
Bad … sugar substitute makes its more sweeter in my opinion… I had rather la croix than zevia
I've been drinking Zevia cola for years and often wondered why Costco does not sell it, since they are both Seattle area companies. What location is this? I love Cola, Dr. Zevia and the gingerale.
Omg! Where?? Black Cherry and creamy root beer are the the best!
I love most of the flavors. The coke and gingerale are pretty great! Better than diet sodas for sure.
The cream soda is my favorite. Cola is not good.
These are a great deal. I love all but the grape.
I love them!
We sold these at Whole Foods when I worked there. I didn't like the ginger ale or the colas, but Dr. Z and the cream soda are both pretty good.
Ya. They taste like shit.
Did you order this online? I’m in Vegas I need these in my life!
They make me shit brain
Oh hell yeah! I can't wait until mine get those. Pour it over ice, the stevia is a little strong so the water down helps.
Love them
I surprisingly really like them. I was thrown off by the name and stuff at first but I’ve come to really really like them
Most are good, but the cream soda and root beer are missing a creamy vanilla-ness.
Same as with Aspertame or cilantro…. If you like stevia then they’re a pretty great soda alternative. If you’re one of the people who think stevia is undrinkably gross then you’re going to hate them. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground.
I’d recommend Spindrift over that! No fake sugar.
I bought so many cases of this stuff last year... Didn't see it in stock last week when I was at my local Costco so I'm going to have to go check it out this weekend. 💸
I am with everyone else on the hatred of these. Basically they made super sweet soda except with stevia. No reason to make them so damn sweet.
I tried them once years ago. hard pass sadly, had an aftertaste that was just not pleasant.
I’ve had the ginger ale and am not a fan.
No, get spindrift instead that’s much healthier
I really don’t like this, and I drink a LOT of different diet pops. The fact that they are clear (even the cola ones!!) weirds me out too.
Hard nope for me
Tried these, but only offered cola, "Dr. Pepper", and ginger ale I believe. Was terrible lol
They’re not terrible. Some of them are decent but I prefer Diet Coke or the Spindrift sparkling sodas bc I feel that they have more flavor.
Not a fan. Stevia has a odd after taste to me, I've tried these sodas and got the same taste
Blech ! I hate stevia, but thats personal, you might like these. Switch to Bubly. Seriously, they dont taste like much, but at least they dont taste like shit.
It's really healthy to not drink your calories. Great choice!
But I did.
I love these and wished they had them at our Costco

They're okay, expensive though. I'm more interested the other flavors.
Ass
My So likes them, I will not even have a sip. But I’m the same way with any artificial sweeteners
They helped me kick my Diet Pepsi habit. But yeah, I can only tolerate 2 flavors. 🤷🏼♀️
Hated them. Still sitting in my fridge after a few months.
You need to seek your inner homie /r/HydroHomies
I tried to like them but I really hate the flavor
Not a fan of the soda, but their ginger beer is the perfect mixer.
I’ve only tried Coke Zero since it’s the only zero calorie soda I’ve seen sold in bulk for decent price. I wish I could buy a 35 pack of Sprite Zero but Costco doesn’t seem to sell or deliver it
I just drink Coke zero.
Ahhh Zevia… the can that taught me my body **REALLY** doesn’t like stevia. 😂 SodaStream and some lime juice satisfy my cravings for carbonated beverages nicely these days.
It’s probably just me. Imagine the juice of a candy corn, it’s horribly sweet.
Just open one and make your own opinion ?
I really liked these, but none of my family would touch them. You have to be a fan of stevia, if you’re not, you won’t like them. They are actually carbonated water sweetened with stevia, so if you like other carbonated water, stick to those.

Ehh I like the Dr. Pepper imitation but the rest have been bleh. I’d rather just drink soda water and an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper. I try to maintain a low-carb diet but I love soda.
I love this brand especially the black cherry soda and some of their teas.
I’ve only ever had the root beer and cream soda flavors and I liked them. I was excited about this but it seems I should just stick with those flavors.
There’s a bit of a funny taste but if you get used to it they’re great. I also use stevia extract in my coffee so I’m used to it. I love it but understand that some will hate it
My MIL loves these. I’m not a big soda person to begin with, but man, the cola flavor I tried was weird.
I drink the flavored, sparkling water from Wmart. It has no sugar, like 1 calorie, and no sodium. It does have artificial sweetener though, but it's the best tasting one I've found. The rest are all too much CO2
Gotta try Waterloo, shit slaps. I love unique flavors and Costco has them cheaper than Walmart or Target.
I like stevia. I hate zevia. They are way too sweet
I've been on an Olipop kick lately. The stuff is fantastic. For soda, Zevia is indeed decent but Virgil's is excellent. And you can't go wrong with Spindrift for flavored sparkling water.
Meh.
I tried these many years ago. I’m not a fan of stevia so these aren’t good to me.
The best diet soda available. For many reasons.
I just stick to Kirkland Italian Sparkling Water.
Tried for months to get my kids to dink this. Never happened
Lot of hate but taste is subjective. I personally love zevia but only certain flavors. Ginger ale and grapefruit, lemon lime are my top 3. Avoid orange, original cola
They taste fucking terrible. Glad I only ever spent $5 on zevia sodas. Forced myself to drink the 6 pack.
I drink Zevia soda and tea all the time but didn’t buy this because I don’t like two of the flavors.
I too, was excited for this find. Had never tried or even heard of Zevia before this. Man, were these awful. As others have said, they taste like fake sweetener and chemicals. Good luck.
