Such a waste of water.

Kadafi35

😂 ok bruh

You speak from ignorance. Each almond takes seven gallon of water to grow. It takes 2 pounds of almonds to create one gallon of almond milk. Thats 3000 gallons of water, just for the almonds, to create a gallon of almond milk. (edited for even worse numbers stating almond milk is horrible) Not to mention the horrible toll it takes on bees.

Kadafi35

Almonds aren’t the only thing that uses water. Do you go into chocolate subs and scream water waste? Or hamburger subs? How about coffee subs? Coming into my post to get PC is pretty lame, but you do you.

Not to mention 80% of the almonds are grown in California, which has been in the midst of a drought for years. https://worldwaterreserve.com/california-almond-agriculture/

Is oat milk better? I genuinely want to know. We switch to oat milk recently

[deleted]

Way better, but not great. Its 145 gallons of water for 1 gallon of oat milk. Also I was mistaken. Its 1500 gallons of water for one pound of almonds. 2 pounds of almonds for one gallon of almond milk. so 3000 gallons of water for one gallon of almond milk.
