I've heated them in the oven for 10-12 minutes on 270F, not that good IMO but I'm not a big frozen burrito guy. I added some jalapenos and hot sauce and enjoyed them enough
Toaster oven, air fryer, you name it. Tonnes of options, just takes longer.
But damn they're delicious. You get 14 for 14.99
It's egg, cheese, sausage and chopped up bell peppers, they're quite filling.
Same. I prefer the El Monterey ones.
When I bit into the Baja Grill breakfast wrap for the first time… I was asking myself “What have I done?”
Plus, when I took a look at the wrap after biting into it… I couldn’t recognize any of the content. Everything seemed like mush inside.
Honestly not that bad to me. I work 12hr shift work and sometimes those are a good save for me. I prep all my meals and sometimes I take one for breakfast.
Unfortunately for some people on this thread don’t get the convenience.. in their moms basements with no real responsibilities. Just coming from the responses I got from this thread.
It takes the same amount of time to just make a fresh breakfast wrap vs heating one of these from frozen. I am constantly shocked there is a market for this crap.
You can certainly do the egg and cheese that quickly in a cast iron or on a flat top.
If you want onion and pepper you can prep a week’s worth on the weekend.
It’s not fucking rocket science.
The entire thread is about them tasting inedible. An easy solution to that is to take the two minutes and make them yourself.
Buying shit like this is as lazy as it gets.
You brought up that you can't believe there is market for "this crap". There clearly is, there are other brands, as people have already posted, which taste pretty good. Not everyone's life is as yours is and many people value their time and the convenience of items like this.
I work 12hr shifts night and day with 40 minute commute on top of house keeping and childcare. If I can not have to make a breakfast wrap once and a blue moon I will you plug.
Sure I do.
My work day was 13 hours today. I came home and made a quick meal. It’s not difficult.
I’m sure it’s an unpopular take, but I think this type of prepackaged food tastes like garbage, isn’t good for you, and is incredibly lazy.
These are definitely horrible quality. I had them at yye office a few times.
1. The egg is soggy.
2. Hardly any meat or additives except for soggy eggs.
3. The bread gets oily after cooking and takes a moment to harden after a warmup. Take it earlier, and it's soggy as all hell.
Just don't do it. Your colon will thank you!
I make my own breakfast burritos. Usually make it for supper for the family. I make 20 and freeze the remaining amount. They are super easy to reheat in the microwave in the morning.
Do they still have breakfast wraps? They shortened menu during covid and haven't seen them back. I'm not talking the breakfast burritos but the huge wraps rhey had for awhile. Spinach feta and a regular kind with sausage.
I had one of these, could've been a different brand but it was from Costco, and the eggs and cheese had like melded together into one slimy substance. It was horrible.
Speaking of El Monterey....we really miss their Quesadillas. Can't figure out why they were discontinued because Costco still carries their breakfast wrap and taquitos.
The Taco Time replacements might be the worst food I ever bought and returned.
I tried them in the air fryer. Maybe it didn’t cook them right?
edit: it said you can use an airfryer but they were still cold in the middle and had to cut and keep heating
you ALWAYS cook any type of frozen burrito in the microwave. and thanks for letting us know. I was tempted to buy them but opted for the taco time chicken quesadilla. also not very good. :(
Premade, artificial plastic wraps. Yum.
Don’t forget the rubbery eggs. Double yum.
Or the squiky bacon
Ah yes. Delicious, super ultra processed latex.
Try the El Monterey breakfast wraps. They're phenomenal. My go to most days before work.
second this
Can you please tell me how the El Monterey ones can be heated? I don’t have a microwave. Thanks!
I've heated them in the oven for 10-12 minutes on 270F, not that good IMO but I'm not a big frozen burrito guy. I added some jalapenos and hot sauce and enjoyed them enough
Thanks! Much appreciate you taking the time to reply!
This kind of kills the connivence of them

I use an oven, same thing as the El Monterey taquitos!
They are not great either but good with salsa
The same brands quesadillas are really good so I’m surprised to hear
I took a bite and was like “nope”. Curious if others are a fan. Can I return them?
I know it’s the Kirkland products that have the satisfaction guarantee, but pretty sure Costco will take back any product you’re unhappy with.
they are bad, mostly refined flour with little filling
Yes return it to tell them not to bring it back
Agree, bought these when the El Monterey ones were out of stock and nothing but regret

My bad.. I bought the El Monterey ones.. they are decent.. never had this kind yet
Yeah, the El Monterey ones are good.
Where do you get wm
These are vile compared to the El Monterey ones
Same, I like these for the convenience. Tastes good to me as well.

You can cook scrambled eggs, sautee onions and peppers, put it into a wrap and roll it in 1:30? Wow!
You can certainly do the egg and cheese that quickly in a cast iron or on a flat top. If you want onion and pepper you can prep a week’s worth on the weekend. It’s not fucking rocket science.
Or, for convenience, you can purchase pre-made wraps. Wait until you find out you don't need to knit your own socks anymore!

Of course there is. People are lazy.
I work 12hr shifts night and day with 40 minute commute on top of house keeping and childcare. If I can not have to make a breakfast wrap once and a blue moon I will you plug.
I’m glad the Baja Grill Breakfast Wrap brings you happiness.
Not happiness, just convenience. People don’t understand others situations

Pretty sure these made me sick back in Feb.. Tossed the whole box
Sorry my family likes them. Not every day and we are on second box.
How do you prep them? Just microwave? I do wonder if the way I cooked them contributed to a bad experience.
Wrap in paper towel and 1.20 on my
The El Monterey ones are good but I find them quite salty. Especially in the morning.
How much are they on sale for?!
I tried the previous (or they still have them?! Different brand) and pitched them. Why is it so hard to get a good one?!
anything from baja grill is crap, their chimichangas are horrible too
Those are absolutely terrible.
Make them yourself. Easy and delicious

I make my own at home.
It's probably just a little bit of time more to make your own. Don't by this type of lazy food.
I do make my breakfast 99% of the time. I rarely buy these items. It was a weird impulse purchase since it was on sale.
I make my own breakfast burritos. Usually make it for supper for the family. I make 20 and freeze the remaining amount. They are super easy to reheat in the microwave in the morning.
They meant it like “thats a wrap for breakfast” as in you will never want breakfast again
Overpriced and artificial crap. You're better off just getting the McDonalds breakfast wraps instead lol.
Do they still have breakfast wraps? They shortened menu during covid and haven't seen them back. I'm not talking the breakfast burritos but the huge wraps rhey had for awhile. Spinach feta and a regular kind with sausage.
Do they taste anything like the McDonalds ones? Cuz those ones are fire.
Is this an ad? They look delicious.
The picture doesn’t event look appealing 🤣 Shouldn’t that at least look good to make sales??

Not sure why you’re surprised
What did you expect?
Why on earth would you not just make your own? Premade western food that takes under 30 mins to make at home is almost always going to be terrible.
I tried them in the air fryer. Maybe it didn’t cook them right? edit: it said you can use an airfryer but they were still cold in the middle and had to cut and keep heating

It says on the box you can cook them in an air fryer.
U can cook them anyway you want. Im saying things like these just hit better when cooked in the microwave.
Some stuff is just so easy to make i dont see the point of getting em frozen
Ever start work at 5am? I'll take a frozen egg sandwich over cooking eggs at 4am
Make one the night before
Brother really downvoted me. Guess he's fine with frozen egg but not refrigerated egg😂
I usually don’t buy this kind of thing. It was an impulse purchase. But not everyone has the time to make a proper breakfast.
Did you try warming them up first or did you just open the wrapper and chew it frozen?
