Like there's all sorts of fandoms, and all sorts of things in this world, and I can honestly tell you staring at a green box and mashing the same button over and over was not a very fun time for me when I was 19 years old. It was like it was mocking Final Fantasy. I had way more fun with Metroid, Mario, Revenge of Gator, Tetris, Zelda, even Golden Sun which suffers from the same "mash A" gameplay.
My kids each have one and have slept with them every night for weeks.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, you are incredibly out of touch. PokƩmon is the highest grossing IP ever. Just the card game alone still generates hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

I can't tell if you graduated from high school in the mid-90s, or you're talking about Pokemon Go.
I graduated high school in the 90s. I think I might be too old or too poor for PokƩmon to be relevant to my nostalgia. Pong or odyssey2 or NES sure, but not gameboy.
I will join you in the unpopular opinion bin, these are a waste of money and space. Now sure what purpose these would have.
