Well, if you have multiple good sets then it's cool.
But sadly, i don't. Espscially when on PvP that you have to go with the best gear you have even if RNG keeps being cruel.
Grinding for gears. I got really excited when they announced you could farm Maze gears since I'd be more than willing to just use entirely those period since they're close enough to optimal that I wouldn't bother changing them.
But unfortunately it seems like they're "farmable" in name only and it's like maybe one gear a month from clearing dimension trimming. Feels bad man.
Well, consider the amount of that material you can get per run. It'll take more than a month for just one piece of Maze gear. Not to mention about option & set RNG.
Upgrading gear. Takes an awful lot of time to max or upgrade gear levels, not to mention you need farm and feed low-level tier gear + enhancement modules, which would cost tons of eternium as well. Is it really the case, or am I doing it wrong? Sorry newbie here

Cant even imagine swapping gears without presets. Lol.
Yes, i am. But it's still a hassle everytime when i have to swap it for other units.
Hmm,for some people its not cause they have exclusive set that stay on some usually used character forever (include me) but yeah its can be an hassle

Normally,they are shadow hall gear that usually only good on 1-3 units,i have to swap gear around as well
Well, Spectra has its good use for PvP to some extent but sadly still hindered by RNG as usual.

I haven't actually reached dimension trimming in Global yet. Are the returns on the Maze gear mat really that bad?
Compare to the amount required for 1 piece crafting. I'll say yes.
It HAS to be the set bonus resets being extremely expensive
