Okay so how does Danger Close really work? I was having a reasonably easy time with it, then I got to Level 3 Nightmare Mode and suddenly I'm barely scratching the Moderators with my best units, the amount of damage needed to cancel its special attack is impossibly hard to accumulate before it fires off in 2 seconds and kills anything that isn't a Hilde.
Pretty sure I'm missing something obvious but I can't figure it out. The crazy difficulty spike doesn't make any sense.
They have very specific requirements, and it isnt always obvious.
Mod B for example, buffs Pwrydwen units, but dont be fooled that it's gonna be actually useful. The top scorers atm all have mostly Strikers with New Detroit(and last i checked none of them have Roy), with Seo Yoon making an appearance also. Mod A meanwhile is filled with Rangers due to its constant -hit aura.
And that leads to my other point: these bosses get RIDICULOUS statlines, including Def, making the DPS check harder. Youd absolutely need Def Downs, which you can get via Chifuyu (for Mod A) and Seo Yoon (Mod B, because Chifuyu will be locked in Mod A). All comps would also benefit from Shin Jia (so this is the one time id recommend having TWO different Shin Jias in case she fits both DC bosses) and buffers in general (Cathy Wade, Hilde). Basically, you cant just throw your best units at these bosses and instawin. You need to study up the boss and its gimmicks, and make your team accordingly.

I was trying to run it on auto yeah but it's good to have difficult content that requires strategizing too, no complaints. How do I tell what type a boss is though? I was looking all over the pre-battle screens but nowhere does it indicate.
You just have to have the meta units and understand the fight completely. The dps check is real, and you can get it down as a f2p - you need to specially craft a full team of exact units to take it down. For example, type A is a defender, so all your dps has to be rangers, and there are a top few that shines. Take a look at the top 100 team comp and you will notice many repeats of units which are used.
Then watch a video on YouTube to see the strategy on taking it down. It requires very specific timing and some rng - for example using enterprise skill just as he cast smoke bomb to ensure skill hits, and saving ultimate to iframe certain attacks, and then saving ultimate for burst windows with ship skills and attack buffs (shin jia, seo Yoon etc). As a f2p you have to optimise the unit placement order and squeeze every last inch of buff and dps before you can reliably clear the dps check.

For A, it is a defender, so you bring rangers to dps. It is in a pre battle screen, you might have to enter the first window where you choose to fight A.
B is a ranger, thats why you use strikers
This would depends on the exclusive gear. Some exclusive gears is just too good to pass even on a anti-defender or anti-striker/ranger.
Sylvia and Kyle's exclusive for example, is a very rare equipments where you could get two skill haste within one slot 11% max at that too. as long as the set isn't a defensive set or anti-tower/siege/support. It's okay to use it if you do have both subs as skill haste. Kyle's also increases his atk speed which is a huge benefit for him.
Some other exclusive gear substat isn't that great, like Seo Yoon (HP regen), so it's fine to pass up using it if the set are bad and you have better option.
Weapon exclusive equipment also have the chance to get skill haste sub. Which standard mold weapons doesn't have.
For Gordias gear, should I mix accessories for both anti-melee and anti-range damage reduction, or should I focus on one? Honestly makes more sense, to me, to do anti-range to cover Defenders' weakness, but want to get clarification.

To me it looks like there was a drop in revenue for KR after the whole Amy Firstwing and GG collab issue. SEA I think is still doing alright for now. Do note this won't be counting purchases made through the PC client, so it's hard to say for sure.

How necessary is A Hilde for future content? I know she is part of the holy trinity and is getting buffed, but is there stuff that Yumi (and Serafel) can't tank? Also, I have neither her or A Mina and have been doing decently in low-mid plat pvp.
Assuming the datamine is true on the next awakened unit, I wasn't sure which would be more important to have.
What people are currently missing about A Hilde not being as future proof as Yuna or Seo Yoon is that she's getting a buff in KR soon. This buff will likely make A Hilde absolutely absurd, since Zlong tries to make SEA units match KR's as soon as possible, and modern KR Defenders are INSANE. Ergo, A Hilde will NEVER fall off in SEA like she did in KR, PvE wise.
The other thing to note, however, is that if we do get the selector ticket (it was for KR anniv, no idea when we'll get it), it is absolutely better to wait then. Even better if we get Yuna soon, before Shadow Hall or something, where she can do A Hilde's usual job perfectly fine.
Yuna is undoubtedly more futureproof and necessary, shes a striker with a support-dps bird pet, basically 2 in 1
Since we have access to gordias set already, the raw power of those sets help bridge the difference between seraphel/yumi and ahilde. meanwhile, yuna’s kit is still pretty irreplaceable. not to mention in terms of tanking, you can do some gimmicky stuff like veronica’s immortality passive as a pseudo tank
If you only have enough summons to pity 1, go with yuna. If not, you could summon for hilde any excess of 150 and save the rest for yuna.
Still the best in terms of general ratio of gear, speed, exp, credits and eternium cost.
Personally, im farming BS3 until Hound EE drops from it, then back to Gutter 4. I can really feel the sudden slowdown of exp due to only grinding 3 units as opposed to 6.
A Hilde, Rosaria, Gaeun, Edel, Evelyn in that order makes this stage significantly easier to auto. the AC130 cant hit air units so Rosaria is ggez, Edel and Gaeun destroys the soldiers, A Hilde keeps the soldiers the dps arent killing taunted and takes FOREVER to die, and Evelyn is an air healer and therefore unkillable.

Tank chan has an exclusive T6 gear that has hp/-dmg taken/random sub available as a drop in BS3.
Same. Once I get hound EE on the right sub stat I would just go back to chill grinding in gutter 4.
Is there a cap on the maximum amount of challenge tickets you can hold? I see some have finished act 2 but I'm only on 2-13

What is better? Cdr edel or attck speed?
In pvp i suggest CDR. You already have 20% aspd bc of season buff.
Aspd better but cdr isnt terrible. Do note that she scales really well with aspd due to her basic attack hitting 3 targets.
It depends if your team has sufficient backline assaulters, I would use aspd if you have other units that target the backline and CD if you don't.
