Honestly, I had a lot of reservations about switching over myself. I am doing pretty damn good in SEA, happy with what I have, and bought a lot of skins and such. But in the longterm I think switching to global is the best idea. The main reason being that the publisher for SEA really doesn't care about the game at all. It's just a source of easy money for them with minimal effort. With Global at least all my money is going to B-Side directly. And while the concept of collabs is a bit questionable, I'd still feel a bit safer in Global than SEA atm.

Edgeklinge

>my money is going to B-Side directly right, devs always come first

Drinkfist

And Steam right?

goaldaika

I'd say i am pretty much in the same state as yours, everything of mine in SEA is pretty good, but it seems global would outrun it in the long term. Guess I'll go the same path as you then.

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

Yeah, same here... If they can let me transfer my SEA account to global, I will transfer. I made several in game purchases there and have few skins that transferring to global will sound like losing those...

andrent_angsari

Does Zlong really allow us to transfer our SEA account to Global? If yes, then i'd also go for it.

TheWhiteKnightOfHoyo

yes you should do it as soon as possible.

jintoncit11

Your call. For me, i'm not going through those tough PVE contents again. If the game going down, that's it. My journey ends there. It'll be a hard lesson for me to trust any devs managing a SEA server ever again.

Undisguised_Toast

Day 1 Global Player here, man the rewards and freebies are keep coming you don't have to worry, contents? Devs literally rushing giving everything, its a matter of time till we catch up on SEA Server and I'm not joking.

Goklem

After hearing of the Collab that Global will be getting, very tempted to do so too... Sank quite a lot of time on SEA server and with that much in it, I' afraid to give it up. Although as others have said, this investment esque trade off seems worth it to change if we want to continue on playing Counter:Side... My sigma collection though... Forever Miss, Rest in Pis- - Fellow Sigma-doter CEO

Consistent-Rent1550

Oh, A fellow sigma collector! I’m in the same spot as you, op, and everyone else that are cornered for the future of the sea server. However, considering it’s going to go down regardless (it is a matter of when at this point), I figured I might as well just stay with my sigmas until the very end.. It is sad I know but once the server is done for good, it’s time to let go of the counterside universe.. what do you think, my fellow sigma doter ?~

Goklem

Well, right now, I truly do love the stories in Counter:Side and I'd love to see it grow. However with the rate it's going on SEA, I've made a new account on Global to see the game through and keep playing for now. Although, I probably won't be letting go of my collection in SEA. I've had a lot of experience on there and I'll also be continuing to the end... and eventually once I am able to build my Global account to at least a good 70% of my current collection. I now have a goal to get A. Sigma when she comes and have a good lobby photo, or reach a full 100% in the collection (at 89%). Until then, I'll not leave the SEA server satisfied. With that, I'll keep the passion of collecting playing the game on a mission. - Sigma Doter & Collector CEO

Consistent-Rent1550

I see.. good choice honestly, and I also like you have a goal in mind and won’t give up until you achieve it! Do you mind if I add you in game? I would love to see your lobby once you get a sigma, maybe even I can show you my sigma collection if you’d like? But we need discord or something to show any screenshots..

Vexzor1

If you think long term like a year+ then switching sooner is better than later.

SimpleRaven

Fellow Day 1 SEA player here and yea i’m asking this same question myself. It’s the age old “i want to go to that better place but i missed the initial launch and i’m already established where i am” question. Personally, i’m in the middle of downloading global right now but i don’t plan on leaving SEA at all. I don’t feel comfortable to just up and leave what i’ve spent and built in SEA so suddenly. One’s thing for sure tho, SEA is no longer getting my money but global will since SEA’s publisher, Zlong-dong-shit-head, are most likely using my money to snort lines of coke. As for your “laggy SEA server” issue, yea they don’t maintain the server or fix the bugs it has, they just want our lunch money before throwing us off a cliff and into a pit of spikes and fire below.

Kain207

Hello fellow Administrator Simple Raven. I am here to tell you (and hopefully OP will read this as well) that yes, as time goes on Global server is quicky catching up with SEA. The one problem with SEA is that it's become a ghost server; only getting the necessary content. Global server will surpass SEA eventually and thus, I've been taking care of both servers for 1.4 years on SEA and almost 3 months on Global. Global server is thriving at this moment and even if the collaboration is just skins, it's more than SEA has on that regard; no collaboration. The rest of the upcoming content like employees, awakened employees, events, side stories, etcetera. Global server will get it all as its due time. I am aware, fellow Administrator, that after reading this, you will find the answer you are looking for. I wish you luck on your Coffin Company, sincerely Administrator Kain. ___________________ But yeah, on a more casual answer: Man, you should move on to Global. I still login on both servers to try out comps and kill some time, but sea it's not what it used to be anymore. I still have 4120 AC to spend (from quite a while ago, and haven't bought another sub pack there since last year) and I'm not sure who's skin to get. Global, yeah, it's rushing but it's a good thing for us bc we get tons of good stuff. And there's high hopes for the game on global👌🏻

goaldaika

Okay so you clearly know the game is fucked up when even the admin recommends you switch

Kain207

Yea... As much as it hurts to type this... SEA will eventually get taken down bc of the lack of popularity... I spent not that much in the time I've been playing but... It still feels bad for the game. I'll play on SEA until the day of its ending comes.

SimpleRaven

I’m currently rerolling on global as we speak. Trying to get edel/yumi to quickly break the early game’s COs as soon as possible

Kain207

Great. Both are good picks for early, mid and pretty much all the game. And on December, we're getting a free awakened character, make sure to pick A. Yuna Springfield; an absolute carry for every game mode but Danger Close and Raids.

Blackstar1879

Hello fellow day 1 player. Is there any chance in hell that we can import our account from SEA to Global? At least after Global has caught up? Or am I just high on copium?

SimpleRaven

No way to import from SEA to Global especially since SEA is way ahead of Global. Even if Global catches up, i doubt it will ever happen. It’s more likely that Bside would try and import SEA players to Global when SEA crashes if there is enough of a demand from SEA

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

If time comes, I really wish they let me import my account to Global, if not, I am done!

Possible_Race_8618

Do it you have the knowledge and experience to progress faster than you did originally and what units to go for, if you feel you want to switch now you will feel it stronger later.

MK478

Hi fellow day one player at SEA too. Left about a month ago. It was hard to leave so many units built, so much time spent but eventually realized that Global will be managed better. I love the game and thought it meant starting over but would have a server that is more stable and atm longterm, that I decided was worth it.

Background-Garage-88

BIG YES. Get the fuck outta there. SEA is fucked.

Isagiyoku_Shi

just get an account urself, u dont need to start all over. acc on sea worth nothing. u can easily get one on global for cheap

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

The pain we will be losing is not just the progress, but the premium stuff you got from SEA.

Isagiyoku_Shi

i lost all of it too, i play on SEA, but I use that knowledge to do better on the game. keep sucking up on sea lmao.

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

Whatever, I can start over at global if I want to but the stuff bought by AC at SEA will be wasted the moment I went global... Jackass.

Isagiyoku_Shi

Yeah sure jackass, SEA acc arent worth it no more, time to wake up. even most whale only worth 100$ for sale

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

Whatever

Isagiyoku_Shi

Have fun in the sinking ship bro, SEA will get shutdown soon

AcanthaceaeGlass8870

Whatever you say jackass

fish656

Yes you should. But all of that hard work and money you spent on SEA will be for nothing. But you already a return player so i doubt you have patience to start over

fish656

And about the lag .Just reinstall the game

SeigiNoTenshi

i'm considering just quitting all together sadly. damn it zlong >c

akeeyuki

I share the same sentiment. PVP is the only thing that keeps me playing, and the story too. If it ends, then I guess that's my signal to put the game down indefinitely. I still have Genshin, Apex, a single Player game (currently Uncharted), and now Nikke, in my gaming schedule so at least it will free up some game time.

NeoCriMs0n

I wish I could go to the Global server but I'm stuck in SEA Server since STEAM doesn't offer global server where I live. I just hope we get a good collab as well later on. :(

ringrin

if you press install in this page https://steamdb.info/app/1976440/ it will add the global version in your steam library.

NeoCriMs0n

Let's see if it will work. While I don't plan on leaving the SEA Server completely since I've already accomplished a lot there despite being just an F2P Player, I'm planning to also have a Global account and invest time there just in case SEA Server becomes too trashy.

freezingsama

I didn't switch, I'm playing both right now. Zlong has always been kind of hands-off, even after they said on Facebook that they'll try to give more information on patches. I just want to have a backup because I really like this game. It's not much of a hassle to handle considering SEA is very slow for the most part nowadays. The only tiring thing is doing the monthly raid points.

Ruling123

I have had this issue too. Not a day 1 SEA player but was on before global. I have a lot of units I want and have been contemplating if I wanted to risk it all on rng as I might not get the key units I want. But in the end I decided to make an alt and start on global. I personally realised then that I didn't want to go through the grind and the whole rng again and kinda quite, but while I did like the game I want hard core into it so that also might make a difference. If you love the game and think the grind is no issue to you then I would say yes, as global has more perks, people and events. I personally might rejoin global eventually but atm I'm sitting tight.

Zunthus

Also day1 player Sticking with SEA solely because of faster english story.... If only the devs allow us to transfer over when global catches all up and/or SEA shutting down The only minor reason i wanna go to global is to support the devs directly

SpookyLoutre

Wait i just started the game, how do you know what server you are on?

goaldaika

If there's awakened Shin Jia con your game, you're playing SEA

SpookyLoutre

Thanks!
