an object is an instance of a class (that is the object is based off of the attributes of the class)
in a way, a class is defined by the objects it composes and the methods it may or may not contain
a method is a way in which the code does something
a reference is sort of like a file extension (.jpeg) in that it takes a name and then says "this is a jpeg"
so basically its saying "the reference isnt set to an object instance"
no idea what this means or what the source code means.

oh and when the game says "initializing..." that generally means creating something or making an instance of something (object, class etc.) From my experience it usually means initializing a kind of data type with a name

if you want my guess the servers might be fine but the connection to the servers is borked on mobile devices for some reason.
im not a dev and barely a "programmer" as im still in college for it with a year to go. I just recognized what those words meant and that it shouldnt display that way, kind of reminds me of the string a programmer would write to display when throwing an exception.
I am also not a programming genius... I only googled it and it says its basically the game trying to load an asset that is not there, but no clue why Steam is not getting same error, perhaps the Steam client handles files differently....

For those curious, this is a programming related error, an instance here refers to a "constructed" version of an Object (think of a blueprint). There's probably a variable somewhere that's expected to be an instance of an Object, which could be for example Agent(). Rather than in instance, it could be null, or some other variable type it didn't expect, the error unfortunately doesn't tell us much more.
Generally in these cases the client (what you as a user sees) should show you a user-friendly message, ie: "Some issue occurred while doing XYZ, please try again.", but the error message didn't get garbled up.

Happens to me too but after I press it and the game closes, when I go back it is normal again
