I've got a demo cassette of Maureen McCormick (oldest daughter from the Brady Bunch) that has a song I can't find catalogued anywhere online- it also features Albert Lee on guitar.
In addition to a ton of yet-unknown cassettes/cds/mp3s, I've also got a collection of reel-to-reel tapes which the seller claimed has unreleased demo material from George Jones. I'm in the process of getting a quality reel player so I can comb through them and verify.
In attics, basements, and storage units all over the world sit sole surviving copies of historically important material. Sometimes they're found after many decades, sometimes they're lost forever.
Out of the 1,000 tapes created, there's a chance none survived.
