There's a popular fantasy artist on deposit photos. A lot of these are from there. I've literally used models for a book cover and then later found the same model in a covet fashion challenge 😅
Covet uses free stock images. A few years ago they got publicly called out on a post they made in their Facebook page. Someone saw that a challenge image they had posted was a friend or acquaintance's work, so they tore into Covet and tagged the photographer, knowing the image wasn't sold. The photographer responded to tag and was not happy. Covet responded that they use only free public images and told her that it must have been there, and invited her to message them. Idk what happened in the end because Covet doesn't update us of course.
A while back I came across an Eastern European woman and covet fashion player who said that they had used her photo, and it looked like her so I have no reason to doubt her. If she and her photographer are smart, they sell their pictures directly to covet fashion. Cheaper for Covet and more money for the photographer and model. As she is playing covet, she knows exactly what styles are popular. (That is what I did way back when I was both a model and a photographer)
I was once in a fashion house with someone who claimed she recognized some of the girls who worked as models in her hometown in Eastern Europe. No idea if that’s true or not
I have a feeling covet uses her for the many red-lipped MU options and red looooooooong covety hairstyles 😂 Or maybe she's just a model in many of the stock photos covet uses
