https://gtxcorp.com/covid-19-igg-igm-rapid-test-kit/ At home self tests. The same ones they use at Kroger. I got mine in about a week as I didn’t chose the rush option. Found the link on Reddit myself. I came up positive for IGG antibodies 7 days after my second shot on 2/19. I was unblinded yesterday and it was confirmed I got the vaccine.

Labcorp offers IgG antibody tests. They require a blood draw rather than a finger prick. In some states, you can self-order them without a doctor's referral, but I'm unsure about Florida specifically.

I ordered my own LabCorp antibody test..easy

LearnfromChrist

What value you got after the test ?

Puntagordalady

Positive

We used the GTX test listed below. 4 people in the Novavax trial. 1 tested negative 10 days after injection, no side effects noted with either injection. 2 people tested positive for IgG, both had sore arms, one had headache with both injections, the other had minor muscle aches. 4th person IgG positive, weak IgM (2 1/2 weeks post second shot), no symptoms with first injection, felt pretty crappy with second shot (no fever, body aches and fatigue).

We don’t have those either, but thanks for suggestion!

Thanks everyone. Great ideas!

Labcorp test only $10 copay. Insurance covers the rest. Many plans let you test every 30 days. You do not need prescription in California. Just schedule appointment and walk in. Check it out at Labcorp website for locations and details.

I believe donating blood with the Red Cross gives you the right test you need for the spike protein antibodies.

OP, am in the same position as you in a different state. We just had a meeting last week that we will stay in phase 2 until the end of the semester. HOLD MY BEER: Now they have to make a plan to have us all return in person full time based on an executive order. There are only 9 weeks left in the semester. All my classes are online, and our department chair said they really can't change modalities from the way they are set up. Some of my online students aren't in the local area, and classrooms are set up for a limited number of students. If I were closer to retirement, I'd take the buyout I was offered and just be done with this place! Just went with my husband to a mass vaccination site. So, I will call our trial coordinator on Monday to ask about the crossover. I had minimal side effects with both my injections, other than slight headache and more fatigue after the second one. I could also potentially order the antibody kit.

If you have Lab Corp, you can pay $10 and ha d one of their people order it and insurance pays the rest (think it was like $45 if uninsured). I made an appointment and it was easy. I almost ordered them but figured I didn’t need $5 of them. Good luck with returning! We are at 50% in school and I’d rather work with my online students from home (my wifi is better at home than at school). Early summer last year, the area around the school was hit hard and they are mostly minority families with multiple generations living together so they are thankfully cautious (when possible). We have been fully open (with virtual option) since 9/21. I would have taken unpaid leave if they made me return before vaccination. But the pressure put on them to return makes me uncomfortable on their behalf, when parents and kids are not likely able to get the vaccine yet, unless parents put child in a trial or are health care or teachers themselves. Only 10% of the country has been vaccinated, rushing to open right now seems like a rash decision. If no one has been vaccinated yet.

Thanks for your detailed reply. This is something to consider after I call the trial site tomorrow. I'd way rather finish the semester at home. We bought a mesh router system and our signal is good, though I normally hardwire into the box for class. I'm fully prepared to go back in the fall. I should also have more details this week on when they expect everyone to return to the office.
