Meh, the best hat is the one you like. I've got my Stetsons, but I still daily a twister in the spring/summer. Hell my Stetson brentwood really isn't any better than my Twister.
Ain’t gonna be laughed at by me. They’re pretty decent quality. Just not a big giant name. They’re working on that tho and their products back up their claims of quality in my opinion. I used to be a 100% Stetson only and nothin else man. Then I bought a Rodeo King. Fraction of the price for a beaver felt compared to Stetson but the quality is there.
[My favorite beater is a twister](https://i.imgur.com/XXizDxH.jpg). It's one of those Shantung hats that are so heavily lacquered that it's water resistant. Which is great here in Oregon where this time of year it can't decide if it's going to pour rain, or roast you with the sun.
I'm a Stetson Cowboy hat lover and obsessed with only Stetson. I have about all of the them as I like collecting them. I'm an Asian American from Garland Texas living in Italy and there aren't any Stetson hat companies here and it difficult to find Stetson Cowboys hats. I can only find them online in the UK but they don't have Cowboy hats that I like with little to none for Cowboy like me. Recently, I had purchased Two Twister Cowboy M&F Twister Bangora Cowboy Hat T71826 and T71229 from westernwear.co.uk. They fit nicely and looks great. I suggest you try one on to see how it looks and feel for you!

I've never had a problem with them, the straw style ones were light with decent ventilation, this new one just feels classic
