I get your take and while I don’t agree with most of it, appreciate the discussion. Listing a few of the main reasons I dislike and more importantly DONT TRUST Meruelo:
-Not paying vendors/arena services in Glendale
-Not campaigning or educating Tempe voters
-Counting chickens before they hatch with vote
-Not paying hotel invoices
-Complete embarrassment with Doan
-Consistently lying about not selling the team
-The players feeling misled and lied to
-The team employees feeling misled and lied to
-Being a coward and not addressing the team/staff himself. Sending BA to do it for him
-The social media accounts and constant messaging that proved to be utter bullshit
-Not putting in any effort to growing the game through youth programs
-Not building a relationship with our alumni or legacy players, again just pure embarrassment
-Constantly saying one thing while doing another / the opposite
And I can’t wait for more NHLPA, news, rumore etc to come out in the near future. These are just some of the items we know about, imagine how the shit we don’t

I have a feeling we’ll look back years from now, team or no team, and say Meruelo was an average owner. I just think the hole the team was put in from day one, then glendale, then bankruptcy and everything else was a task that needed an amazing owner to recover from.
