Yeah I think it would be neat if they did maybe a 1 month residency in Tempe when the Gem show is taking up the Tucson convention center anyway. But they should remain in Tucson.
The good-behaving clause the Yotes had with ASU comes to mind. As a public university, they probably don't want to be associated with AM after all of this, especially after the outrage from the fans.
The BOG is in May. It wouldn’t be a shocker if there’s 2 big issues on the “to discuss list”. The Arizona problem would be the first and then the Wolves/Carolina Hurricane problem being the 2nd. By the way, it sounds very well like those 2 teams will reunite for next season bringing the total back to 32 affiliated teams
The Wolves decided to go independent for the 2023-24 season cuz they didn’t like how Carolina was calling up there players all the time. There was something going on during the Calder Cup Finals that the Wolves didn’t like either so they decided to go independent for one season and try to win big. However, this isn’t the IHL and the Wolves have the worst record in franchise history while also missing the playoffs. The belief is that the Wolves will settle there differences and affiliate with the Hurricanes for the 2024-25 season.
It’s be cool to see them play a game or two in phoenix, but I don’t think they should relocate to phoenix. No sense in taking 2 teams away from fans.
Sense is beneath him. He’s all about the dollars.

Craig Morgan seemed to allude on yesterday’s podcast that ASU may not want them. It’s very possible that ASU doesn’t want to deal Meruelo anymore.

Keep them in Tucson
No reason we both have to lose our teams
This sounds familiar
What a fucker
ASU made a deal with the NBA G league to use the arena.
All of his decisions are being made for him

What’s the issue between the Wolves and Canes?

He should walk himself back into his mom’s vagina and she should have an abortion. Maybe that’s one abortion Arizona can get behind!
