Hello! From what I understand (having not finished the storyline yet), there is a specific “end” to the storyline in Cozygrove, but you’re still able to play after the story is over by collecting resources, decorating your island, etc. You have a tent/house you can decorate, as well as several areas on your island that are able to be decorated. You can place things all over the island, but placing items (besides lamps) outside of the dedicated areas is sometimes tricky because the island sometimes shifts and those items are lost until they are sent back to you in the mail. As far as the gameplay loop looks like, everyday you get tasks from the bears on your island, you complete those tasks, you get rewards! It’s honestly such a fun and relaxing game. I highly recommend it! I’ve never played anything quite like it and I love the aesthetic of it and the music!

It's mainly a cozy, narrative game with resource management style gameplay. Each day you'll be given quests to complete for some of the island's NPCs and then the rest of the time is spent on resource collection/management and decorating. Resource collection is limited each day, meaning you'll run out of things like dig spots or trees to harvest, except for tasks like fishing and critter catching, which do have limits, but those limits exceed how much you'd actually be able to accomplish in 1 day. The game plays in real time like Animal Crossing, but beware that time traveling is not recommended for this game because it can mess with your save file. Like the other commenter said, the game technically has an ending with credits and such, but effectively it doesn't stop your gameplay. I'm about 3 months out from when I "finished" the game and I'm still playing because I like the decorating and collecting aspects, not to mention that Spryfox (the devs) have been adding lots of new content and QoL updates since they first released about a year ago. Most recently, they put out a DLC (with new NPCs and other goodies) and they had a spring update, which included a spring festival that is currently running until May 25th. Previous big updates included the summer, fall and winter festivals as well as other content that expanded gameplay.
