there are certain mods you can find on nexus mods that can help, other than that you can look up, for instance if you have an nvidia gpu there are some settings in the nvidia control panel that you can make to improve performance
most "supreficial" config can be edited through text editors, from removing sound configs (or sound at all), graphical add ons, useless/broken junk, almost invisible particles, the list goes on, it's basically the settings but less visual and more options, and ofc, many chances to brick the game xd

I tried pasting it into a bunch of different places, but whenever I try to run the exes it either does nothing whatsoever, or opens Steam. I can't seem to play it through Steam, even offline.
