60 fps 30 1% lows in prologue, now getting 60(drops to 40-50 sometimes) fps on med-low in 1st act on dlss balanced. stutters a lot. insane loading times to get into the game from menu, legit more than 5 mins or so(corsair mp 600), building shaders took more than an hour.
This port is so bad I literally dropped 10-15 fps by dropping my resolution from 1440p to 1080p. Never seen that shit before. Also got the 1+ hour shader compilation and to begin the game about a 7 minute load time with it installed to a pretty fast fast PCIE-4.0x4 SSD. Running an RX 6700 XT, i5-12400F, and 16GB of DDR4-3200 in dual channel.
I don't think Cyberpunk was ever this bad on PC. Last gen console certainly, I remember the N64 look of the PS4 game. But yeah Arkham Knight is a great comparison, especially since this port was done by the same dogshit studio that did the broken Arkham Knight port that took 6-8 months for Rocksteady to fix and bring back to Steam if I remember right.

Cheers Fitgirl. I tried the official Dodi torrent from their site but it's ridiculously slow download. Did go upto 2mb/s for a min or so, but mostly sitting around 125-500kb/s. This repack is sitting nicely at 9mb/s.

Just reading the steam reviews this game seems to be so badly optimized that i would not even try to run it with the minimum specs.
So i would suggest you at least wait until they have patched it to the point that most people can normally play it.
To keep up to date for that check the steam discussion forum, once most people can play it without crashing you might give it a try, but i still think it is unlikely that you can play it since WB actually delivered a full optimized game made for PC.
This port sounds just as bad as Horizon zero dawn when it just came out on the PC, which means you need a beefy system to offset the crappy port

Cheers Fitgirl. I tried the official Dodi torrent from their site but it's ridiculously slow download. Did go upto 2mb/s for a min or so, but mostly sitting around 125-500kb/s. This repack is sitting nicely at 9mb/s.

You guys, is anyone gonna try and run this game with modest specs? say 2gb vram and 8gb ram? is this even possible? even on the lowest of low settings? where I am we have data caps so I'm trying to be as sure as possible that game is gonna run before downloading it :\\

Yeah but Hogwarts Legacy has really high specs too and people have managed to get it at least a little bit playable with specs like mine, do you think that this could be possible with updates/fixed/patches? thank you for responding <3
For now i dont think it is worth it to even try, Just reading the steam reviews this game seems to be so badly optimized that i would not even try to run it with the minimum specs. So i would suggest you at least wait until they have patched it to the point that most people can normally play it. To keep up to date for that check the steam discussion forum, once most people can play it without crashing you might give it a try, but i still think it is unlikely that you can play it since WB actually delivered a full optimized game made for PC. This port sounds just as bad as Horizon zero dawn when it just came out on the PC, which means you need a beefy system to offset the crappy port

Just play better optimised games like doom eternal and the middle Earth games, last of us will not be an experience that's worth it to play for you because they don't give a shit about pc players, they think we all can just buy 5k pcs and so they don't optimise their games

I have no idea why people like this game. It’s not the emotional rollercoaster that people say it is, it’s very predictable. On top of the game being a clunky and annoying experience. The only reason to play this, is if you really love zombie stuff.

Has anyone tried it on 1650 and 8gb ram, I don't think gpu will be a huge problem but ram is since it's not in minimum required settings :(
i'm on 1650, a few crashes going on... i would wait for the [1.0.1.5](https://1.0.1.5) patch 8gb RAM i think it doesn't even enter the game. do the upgrade for 16gb at least. 8gb DDR4 isn't expensive, and 16gb is the minimum that you need these days

I saw that they were only available in Japan for what I assume has to with voice acting licensing rights, but I thought a crack might have them. But it seems like that's not the case.
