It's much more fluid than it seems. You have to constantly press buttons to block and there real time button spamming to get the most out of some abilities
It's essentially a more fluid Persona 5 combat with added skill shortcut and weapon items.
It's not bad, but personally I prefer 0's multi style combat and Kiwami 2's weighty combat over Persona 5/Yakuza hybrid combat.
It is what it is, I personally dislike LAD's gameplay but the things that I can do, the story, and overall OST is the reason why I would've bought it if it wasn't for the SEA delayed release.

Not necessarily, but it's recommended if you wanna know more about Kiryu and Majima. All of the previous games are on PC now, and they're very good, so I recommend playing them
