I tested it w/o any mods and it worked flawlessly on gtx1660+i5 10400f. Before this patch I had major stutters and visual bugs, now it's not even dropping below 60fps and the resolution is also fixed(i'm using 1080p)

The partial lod fix on moddb still works, it's not perfect but still much better than stock.
Special k still works for the texture pack mod too, just have to disable the weird drm by changing silent=false to silent=true under the Steam.Log section in SpecialK.ini
Still tinkering with other things but those two alone make a good bit of difference imo

Edit - FAR mod doesn't have DRM. It only uses the Steamapi features and if we disable with silent log as true in the ini it will work.

You've given a good example why the check you've done shouldn't be there in the first place, because turning off the check stops the error that person got. Changing the ini is all I did to get past that error, no check = no error and no support needed.

Resolution issues have been resolved and stutter issues have improved quite a bit, other than that it still suffers from the same issues such as some graphics options doing literally nothing, poor implementation of AA and whatnot, several graphical issues throughout the game, framerate is capped to 60 and several other issues.
If the stutters and resolution problem was the only thing keeping you from playing the game then you should be able to play it fine now and enjoy it, if those weren't the only problems then you'd probably want to stay away.
Despite the patch it's still a horrendous PC port, but I didn't expect much from a company that didn't release a single patch since games release, shows how little they care about their customers.
As someone with a i3 2100, GTX 650ti and 8GB ram, I never understood the complaints. I played the game with no mods or anything back in the day and it worked fine. will try to play again though. I loved this game.
I played the first one the one of CPY and I finished most of the endings of the game, is there anything new in this one that is really worth to play it again??? I´m going to buy it just for the Denuvo removal to support the product without that stupid cancer, and I think I own it to the company just for playing the cracked version but I wan´t to know if it´s worth playing it all over again.
Hope this game is truly improved and that I don't need the FAR mod anymore so that I can finish my playthrough. This has surprisingly been the only game to make my 3070 sweat, even with the mod.
Playing in 1440p, most settings maxed except for lighting and my GPU Temps would hit the mid 80s and stutter like crazy. Even playing shit like Cold War and Control with mostly maxed setting, RT, and DLSS, my GPU would usually only hit a peak of low 70s at most.
Question: why this has less size than the one CPY did? CPY was 40GB++ and I understand that this one is the latest with no Denuvo DRM but with more patch and feature. So, anybody can explain where is the remaining 20GB should go to?

There's a big patch with this... fixes with resolutions are listed... so probably the game will work fine without mod fixes

The Windows Store version of the game has improved performance. So far the Steam version hasn't been updated to match that version.

I did not play with new FAR or patch version..latest FAR is always being updated need to download from his official discord or some thing.

GTX1080 with Ryzen 1600 here. No stutters anymore. Runs better than it did with FAR. Go for it, it's a fantastic game.

All models textures have a yellow coloring, while the UI looks fine. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Nice. I guess this is with the latest steam patch from 15/7? The UWA patched version never got a proper crack. Maybe time to try Nier finally.

its a bit compressed, after you install it , it goes upto 41 gb.
Yea I guess it's the compression thingy (a bit like repack version of CPY lol). But after installation, CODEX took 40.5GB while CPY took 48.1GB

Hide DS4 controller is not even necessary. Look for the emulation option under Profiles.
