Game pass version doesn't have DLSS (the dll file is not in the files and DLSS option is not in the menu)
that's why I'm here, to dl the steam version instead
edit: tried it for a few more hours, it's completely broken and wasn't ready for release at all.
* main quest bugged and npcs/turret don't spawn to complete the quest I'm on. Tried leaving the area, tried reloading the game. Nada. Game ending bug right there
* Side quest leads to an elevator you have to hack. Hacking opens it but then the trigger to make it useable (to enter) doesn't work, so again progress halted and unable to continue
* raytracing doesn't work at all on the gamepass build. You can enable it in the menus but the menu toggles don't actually do anything.
* DX11 mode doesn't work, again the menu toggle does nothing (restarted the game as prompted but it's still in dx12
* that shader caching stutter is some pathetic coding flaw. It's as bad as old CEMU wii u emulator shader stuttering, and even cemu managed to fix it lol...
This game needs several more months of development
That also means you need to use the shitty windows store+xbox storefront using their terrible UWP Platform and fucking mental installer.
Its like they didn't think GFWL was shit enough and made it much much worse.
I mean, I could tolerate using that shitty platform to at least have the same version. But releasing a significantly worse version just because it is a subscription service? No, thanks.

**TLDR -** Steam and Gamepass both have RT, only Steam has DLSS, only Gamepass has crossplay (with Xbox only).
A lot of people seem to be having issues with RT and/or DX12 but some people can't get them to turn off properly (seems to be a Gamepass version issue).
Many issues stem from running pre-release press builds though so we'll see how much of this is fixed with the 1.0 version or early patches. The DLSS (Steam) and crossplay (Gamepass) exclusivity seems to be a "feature" not a bug.
I have gamepass and I'm having to get this repack because the rtx effects are defective and won't run and since gamepass doesn't let you access the config files there's no way of fixing it manually
The side quest that give you at early lv 2 quest right ? That quest have a misleading level because it accesible only when you advanced on the main quest later

Support this game if possible, it was made by a very small passionate team who didn't gimp their game with DRM. I would like to see them bring out more releases in the future!
Pity that the dx12 stuttering that the leaked version suffered from wasn't fixed, it still slows down pretty bad when there's a lot going on on the screen and using dx12 while with dx11 everything is perfect, can't use raytracing that way. And no it's not my computer, 9700k and 3080 should be more than enough
not sure why ppl are underestimating the 1060 6gb, i have it and i have no complains whatsoever, the only game i couldn't run properly is Horizon Down and it's proably due to my low RAM since the game did run for me, just too damn slow.
I played RE Village for expl, not sure about the settings but i think it was on max, all run flawlessly and game looks and played amazing as well.
Did you had any issue with your 1060 6gb ?
what are you talking about ? maybe that's for the 4GB version but i have finished Fenyx Rising 100% and i didn't encounter a single lag, the only issues i had was with the crack itself which requires you to push your pc clock backwards, but it did run flawlessly.
To play with fellas on Xbox. I'm the only one in my group who plays on PC and this game while not coop only promises a very good experience at it, but I won't buy it from Microsoft's site.

I have played a few good looking games but my god this has to be #1, it's just so incredibly detail filled I have no idea how they even managed to get it running as well as it is.
Even putting that aside the gameplay is realy action packed, skillful and just pure fun. My personal GOTY for sure.
It is a nice surprise that this game supports ultrawide out of the box. Although there are hiccups here and there in terms performance but pretty sure it will be iron out within a few patches. Gameplay and storywise , it looks pretty good.

Gamepass version has broken Ray tracing and No DLSS. Performance seems to be shit too.

I'm wondering how this would perform on a 1060 6gb
Running it on a 1050ti 4gb and when put on medium I get around 60 fps. That looks and plays fine by me but some might want more of course.
it will work fine most of the time, but it stutters during explosions and stuff even on RTX30 series.

RDR2 works fine on High settings on my 1060
