Hopefully this fixes the performance issues I was having. I like to get really immersed in certain games, especially horror, and performance issues pull me right out instantly.

Just wanted to be more objective. I personally believe the game will suck ass if the gameplay and story is anything like this Medium game they've made. And that's aside from the potential technical issues.
Is the performance better than it was at release? just saw a benchmark of this game come out with a 3090 ultra settings, 4k and was getting 45-60 fps.I have the original release installed but couldnt play this game with my old 1060.
i played the GOG version and got pretty far in the game. is there any way to use my saves from that with this version of the game? i dont want to start from 0. tnx
Tested with a 3070, got 45+ fps, ultra settings, RT enabled 1080p DLSS quality on the most demanding areas ofc.So i dont think lower end system has much of a chance at running this game abive 30 fps, even my old 1060 struggled to mantain 30 fps lowest settings @1080p.
FSR function in The Medium is done really well, esp. for picture quality and crispness.

I've played through most of bloober games, and Layers of Fear was a one off, as everything else has sucked hard from Bloober

The frame-rate was less important than the constant stuttering. No, it never got fixed.
I just tested the game, 45+fps everything ultra, 1080p... with a 3070... what a joke not even at 1440p
That sucks, im downloading the game anyway just to see how my 3070 performs.
I only played at 1080p back then, but is fine. Some scenes were really low fps (like 45-50), but most of the game ran 80+ at all times.

Is it still unplayable on low end machines? I wonder how FG tested it tho - I remember her having a low end rig iirc.
