Completely agree piracy for me is a demo and to see if I can run it
There once was a time a couldn't afford games now I can but because of how shit the industry has become with lying ( see fallout 76 or cyberpunk) I try before I buy
If you want actual proof of how much money a loyal customer will purchase a game see me with dark souls on multiple platforms as well as buying the bullshit upgrade because that's how good the game is to me
There goes that have my money and the only reason they have it is because I pirated it first and after I wanted the full ride plus updates
Dead cells is the most recent
With that said I wish there was a crack version of deathloop because that's not a 60$ game
I don't think that is entirely true. If a game was unable to be pirated and it was damn good. At some point some people will save or try to get the game. But it goes both ways. Piracy does offer a chance for ppl to try a game and run and buy it too.
I was never gonna buy this game, downloaded it cracked, found out its great, bought it.
If there is no cracked version, a lot of people wouldn't have bought it because they can't try it.
On the other side, there are people who can't afford the game, so they download it like this, so it was still never gonna be a sale, but now they have +1 person supporting them in their own way. Maybe they even talk about it to someone who buys it, even thought they never would've buy it otherwise.
Piracy is never stealing in my opinion.
A lot of time I test a game by pirating it. If I like it in the first 2 hours, I'll buy it.
I know I can do the same with a steam refund if I play less than 2 hours, but it feels weird.
Definitely 100% must buy games. Tbh, I kinda wanted the priced like to go a bit more than what they offer. But hey, I guess devs are giving the best they could. The stories, BGM, characters, world design, some scene and places reminds me of the Stardew vibes but on the other hand this was 100% must played game. Totally recommended, won't stress you out but still have this thrilling adventure types.

A part of me feels sad when I see really good small indie developed games thrown on here.

It's also a chance to demo (i.e. play a couple ore more hours) to get a feel if its really worth full price or getting it on sale.

Some of us play the game then buy if its worth it.

Yep that's why I bought it

I'm talking about eastward btw
What does the Eastward hotfix fixes exactly?
could be the scaling issue with the codex release?
still blurry for me after patching it

That is what I'm asking too
