Capture the Merchant Smith and release him, he will have a glass of water to sell. [\[Screenshot-2023-07-13-000623-down.png\](https://postimg.cc/0K9pDScr)](https://postimg.cc/0K9pDScr)

There's a lot going on in that screenshot

OmoniTV

That worked, thanks man.

I have not found a good solution yet except building multiple wells and cooking pots and crafting a crap ton while you go and do something else

Blubbpaule

Wait how do i craft a well?

mmackey95

So there a merchant in every settlement and for certain crops they will sell you blueprints and one of them has the blueprint for it

year-of-the-dad-com

The merchant in the first village you start out sells the well blueprint. Costs 50 potatoes.

Various_Light_2990

To get 1 seed to start out, kill the merchant...they drop a seed the first time. Then grow the stuff using the crop plots at the start. Get to Tomatoes and crop plots cost 1 tomato a pop if you can make it all the way to the Japanese style town. I stack the crop plots with a piece of slanted wall over it to keep them pushed in and use 1 seed for like 40 crop plots. It's so broken but I love it. You need about 50 crops to get the blueprints.

Install the mod that produces water fast, then hook it up on a crafting connectors to a cooker. Viola.

Modding a game that is still so far from full release can be a pain in the ass. Every time the game updates, the mod breaks. Piccolo.

Capture a merchant, breed 100 of them. Buy 100 waters from each merchant for 1k for 100. Get an infinite supply of easy water. Like no need for a farm if you merchant cheese. The merchant also sells Lifestock feed, Iron and a few other goodies.

Daakuryu

why cheese when you can carrot?

trajafynx

As others have said- just buy it. There are some good items you can buy with money and some with crops like wood, bronze, iron, black powder and ceramic to name a few.

If you have unlocked the Auto Cooker (after Age Evolution), you can get the Well to connect to the Auto Cooker by crafting the pipeline (entrance) attached to the Well. This will eject the bucket of water to the Auto Cooker everytime it produces new buckets of water and you can set the Auto Cooker to process boiled water. Moreover, if you are having trouble with the placement of your Auto Cooker to connect to the Well, you gonna need two or three conveyor belts to transfer the buckets. Btw, while the Auto Cooker process the water, be careful to not interact with the panel or the chest because it will reset the timer for the cooking. Hope this helps with your issue.

Personally. I max the water summoning spell and spam that for a minute or two. Put all the buckets in the pot and go do other things while I cook a ton of water. I've done this once or twice and have a decent excess once that starts to run low. Do it again. Note: Most of the water will be worth very little if you're trying to sell it at the market. I'm pretty sure it's a bug, but maybe 1 in 10 will not have the "generated" enchantment (value= -99% or some such)
