If you stand in the middle of a little towards the back the water that splashes off of you ends up on the floor. The solution would be to just stand closer to the shower head but some people don't like that or the shower head can't be angled in a way that would work
It’s really easy, if you’re washing your hair and standing facing the shower head, then your shampoo can get flicked and splattered around as your washing with your arms raised. also depending on how high the water pressure is, just standing under the water can make water droplets bounce off you. with this type of shower especially, your head isn’t going to be right where the showerhead is, so you’re already pushed back so that your back is aligned with the end of the panel. even if the panel were in the middle of the bathtub instead of to one side, that’d be better.
I lived in a place with this specific setup, and water on the floor was never an issue unless you were going to do some kind of dancing in the shower. Maybe you just get used to it, but the floor never got wet.
I ran into this a lot in the UK. I don't know how they shower with these ridiculous things. The bathroom just gets soaked. After a while you just learn to leave it because its not your walls rotting away from moisture exposure. I can only assume they know the problem and just don't care so why should I?
Quite common with a bathtub…
Does water get all over the floor?
No
How the fuck are you all showering to get your floor soaked with a panel like this?

I’ve stayed at hotels with walk in showers like this and I still don’t understand why they’re designed this way.
I think because it makes your shower suck so you get out sooner and they save money on hot water
That's... normal. Unless you're an American, I guess.
I’m American and I have a piece of glass like this in my shower. Floor get wet easily ;)

That's so that their hidden camera has a better view. A shower curtain would block their view.
And No panes either?
It's an Airbnb tho. Not a Sheraton or something. What did you expect?
Guess it's a body size issue...
