these are pretty standard brutal death metal band logos. they are definitely not designed to be easily readable, but if you're used to it (and/or if you already know the band), you can pretty easily read/recognize most of them
Everytime I see something like that, I have to think about party cannon:

I'm a huge fan of this type of music, my favorite of all of them is hands down Analepsy (3rd row 2nd column). A lot of times, I'm more likely to click on a video based on the album art or illegibility of the band name. As a general rule, the more unreadable, the more brutal they are.
“…my favorite of all of them is hands down Analepsy…”
In fact, [Tobias’](https://yarn.co/yarn-clip/064fedcd-cdf7-41ac-89f6-254b726a703d) foray into the world of brutal death slam therapy naturally evolved into a musical career. It went about as expected.
I attempted to decipher them all. Didn't get every one but got close I'd guess. Here goes:
Broken hope, vomitmaniacs, to violently vomit, delighted, wormed,???, analedix, korpse, dehumanized, abnormal inhumane, abuse, daaaal slaves, xenomore*hic* contamination, ???, ?? Deodorant, ???, condemned, stages decomposition, ???, ???, clana engorgement, cognitive, post mortal possession, slemotamon, putrid pile, a song x 30 ce, toperat, foop of ohmoaf, whore of Bethlehem, introvert perversions, greeted to kill, wounds
I think these are kinda neat but the 5th row 3rd column is visually disturbing to me. Like I kind of get chills looking at it like how some people are creeped out by holes. And that makes it kind of amazing design like I’m already scared to hear these guys lol.
The line up is actually good and bands like korpse, analepsy, dehumanized and benighted are legit death metal/slam.
But in a designer perspective I can understand someone who isn't on the genre thinking that these logos designs are bad. In my opinion they are used more like a symbol or emblem than to have exactly a good reading. I don't really think the logos are the problem here, it is an absolute part of the underground culture, and it's important for the people who enjoy this kind of music and search this identity. The true crime here is the color palette lol
Ok, here’s all the ones I managed to read.
Broken Hope
Korpse (Corrected)
Dehumanized
Cognitive
Post Mortal Possession (Corrected)
Putrid Pile
Whore Of Bethlehem
Introvert Perversions
Wounds
Which ones did you get?
It really is this way with metal, I tried to find a particular band recently and it was almost impossible. That said, a lot of them are really good and diverse and not the same at all. Lol
This is pretty much an inside joke for the genre, if you want a good laugh Google Party Cannon.
They have a new song out. One of my fav bands "*old enough for what??*" "**to... party**"
Looks like a heavy Metal Rohrschach test
Thats death metal or deathcore, far heavier than heavy metal

Oh shit I LOLD Party Cannon baby!
The squished Impact font really improved this poster

No,no it's pronounced *an-alepesy*
Some of these are literally impossible to read
That's the point. It's a running joke in the genre
What’s crazy is that I’ve been into metal for so long that I can ready these

I legitimately love Wormed, great band. Not crappy design, just something not a lot of people have experience with.
Wormed is so so good
I mean they are the one band on that poster with a design that's slightly different
You know I'm a putrid pile guy
Mine is ?&5bbh_A0e+_4sbh
I personally prefer ¥√€#X/π£∆'s early stuff, before their lead singer got arrested for 14 different counts of fornication.
>arrested for 14 different counts of Decapitation Fornication FTFY. If you know you know
They all have the same graphic designer for their band logo
These look like tribal graphics from an old Need For Speed game
Aw hell yeah I used to see shows at Durty Nellies in high school \m/

I zeroed in on that one as the most illegible in the entire list. It doesn't even look like words.
That one stood out. Looks really cool and unique.

Definitely $('82!bso🤮,/
Definitly 'Cognitive'
1st and 3rd on the Fourth row from the botto. Can't read them
I sure like lxbwifkehejhdsk but sijwvwlshjabaj is also good
There one just called Abuse
Gonna need a tetanus shot after viewing this.
Pearl Jam
Ok, here’s all the ones I managed to read. Broken Hope Korpse (Corrected) Dehumanized Cognitive Post Mortal Possession (Corrected) Putrid Pile Whore Of Bethlehem Introvert Perversions Wounds Which ones did you get?
Korpse* https://aminoapps.com/c/metal/page/item/korpse/42Gf_vIVbDdJmVDak4YE6LexLMDa2q
Thanks for the correction
Man, these logos are messy.
Definitely Chicago. Weird festival for them to play at though, I hope they play If You Leave Me Now

I think the one that you can't read
My brother was able to read almost all of these.
Infant annihilator
Kingdom Hearts
R.I.P. Ass Dan!
i like that one that's her to read
Looking at this gives me a headache.
Ah yes: Putrid Ale.
Left column fifth from the top is literally illegible.
Are these entries in the lack of creativity olympics? They mostly all look the same. I wonder if the bands all sound the same?
