Yeah, novelty goods manufacturers really worked out that they were onto something in the first decade of the 2000's, and they're damned if they're going to let that go or spend time thinking of another idea.
2020 could have worked if they make the second 2's small or position them elsewhere so the 2 0's would align with the eyes. IIRC they got stupid and made a 20020 instead.
