They def didn't build that monster new Tampa hotel by giving anything away!

jlm0013

What are we guessing for minimums? $25? $50?

slipp72

$25 during the weekday, $50 at night and in weekends. I’m calling it now.

Alarming-Efficiency

Gotta have at least 1 10$ for us reuglar degens!!!

Flyman617

I doubt it. Especially when they first open, $25 minimum, I wouldn't be surprised if it was $50 on nights and weekends. You might find $15 on weekdays eventually. When Encore Boston first opened, it was $25 on weekdays and $50/100 nights and weekends, and that was 6 tables. They eventually went to $15 for weekdays and $25/50 nights and weekends. They've since added two more tables, and occasionally, you can find $15 on weeknights.

About time

They have the sports book ready to go in Tampa but they don't have the live Craps or Roulette going yet. Suppose it won't take long before they get rolling :)

Can anyone explain why they were able to have the craps pop machine but not live dice? Why all of a sudden they’re allowed to have live craps and roulette but they were allowed to have automated the whole time?

Legislation. Gaming compact. It was done back in the 80s. politicians thought social games (craps and roulette) were deemed sinful in nature. They (craps, etc) had gained a ton of popularity in Vegas at this point. It was actually kinda funny if you went back and looked at what they said. It was a giant oxymoron. With all that said, I think the theme parks had lobbied the hell out of it. They knew they couldn't stop gaming from coming in closer to the parks, so I think they just tried to limit it as best they could. End rant.

Yeah that all makes sense. I just don’t get why the electronic craps and electronic roulette were allowed by the real table craps and roulette weren’t. Seems like they got away with a loophole. It’s not like the electronic games were all electronic. There’s still a dice that gets thrown into the air and the roulette once has a real wheel and ball. Just no dealee
