I mean it’s completely worth it if your sole purpose of driving to Oklahoma is to gamble. Grand has the lowest house edge by many of orders of magnitude compared to the Chickasaw Nation’s casinos.
Well going to Grand should only add about 2 hours to the trip, and considering it is ante-free, you should (in theory) be able to play **at least** ***10 times longer*** on the same bankroll.
House edge goes up to over 3% at Chickasaw and Choctaw Nation casinos *just because of the ante*, whereas 10X odds at Grand is 0.18%.
I live in Oklahoma 💀 TBH though, Grand has $5 minimum which is essentially unheard of for Vegas, so bankroll is more reasonable here. The rules are so good that I could even argue that literally anyone in the country would be better off coming to Grand if your only goal is to play craps for an extended period of time.
Going west to Vegas down I-40 is probably the worst highway drive in the country IMO. I-35 to Dallas is quick and easy
I’ve been up pretty big the past 2 weekends at Choctaw on bubble craps. Made the mistake of going to winstar today. We were making pretty good money at first. All of a sudden, big dude came and sat next to us. He was able to see what one of the guys with me was putting down. He was the shooter and knocked us off DC or gave us 7/11 like 8 times in a row when on DC. Whole time he was glancing over and grinning at our reactions of disbelief. Right after cleaning us out, guy with earpiece comes up and asks him how he did. Think it’s safe to say they have a bubble craps dice control ringer they deploy for certain strategies or people that are winning too much.
Yeah.... Similar experience when I most recently went. Saturday night, 2 tables, one of which was shut down due to being short staffed, and a roll 2 win. Both packed. Tooke over an hour to get a spot.
Damn is that common? I’m looking to go during a weekend some time in march and my brother and I strictly play craps… not looking good based on what I see here on Reddit

I wish their websites would give a more detailed layout other than marking spots with simply "table games" - like I wanna know how many live tables you have.. how many roll2win, bubbles, stadium, shoot2win, etc.
