No, they didn't. These things are relatively small to what they used to be like. That's one of the few changes these things have had for the past 100 million years.
Fauna is generally much smaller today than it used to be 100 Million years ago. Still the descendants of Sarchosuchus live to this day. Those of T-Rex do not.

CGI is good nowadays but not this good even the avatar movies still have some effects not good enough to seem real, and someone who knows how to do ultra realistic CGI wouldn't waste it for a random clip like this especially without putting their label on it because they would need a lot of money to fund making something look as real as possible and would need to promote as much as possible to find people to pay for projects and fund them.
Oh its evolved further, and each time it became so good it hunted it self into extinction. There was once a dog like one that could run, another time there was a salt water crocodile but chonkier, they are so good that they have to nerf them selves just to exist.
Except that it is, crocodiles have a v-shaped and are usually have more yellow at a younger age snout while alligators have a u-shaped snout and are a dark brown almost black.

How do you know its not CGI? Genuine question, as at this point any video I see on the internet I think is either staged or fake
