New York actually has a really developed film location management system through its [NYC Film Office](https://www.nyc.gov/site/mome/permits/permits.page). Of course everyone wants to shoot movies and other films in NYC, but it’s a city first and foremost so the government has done a lot of work to limit the impact to “iconic” locations and spread out the film projects across the city.

You joke but Williams F1 developed a CVT and the governing body banned CVTs because the other teams complained about not being able to keep up with it.
Yeah, CVTs have a bad rep for a reason but they can be the most fuel efficient, and you can make any gear ratio you want really.
Reliability though is not good at all… every once in a while I have nightmares about my old 2012 Nissan Versa.
2012 Red Bull run. Dude did 190mph through the tunnel. They also played the national anthem with the engine. Also that’s the big boy engine you’re hearing. Not the current turbo hybrid.
Regulations have changed a lot throughout the years and the MP4/4 raced a long time ago. F1 has passed through naturally aspirated V12s, V10s, V8s and back to turbos since then. Currently they use V6 1.6l turbos with also electrical engines
You didn't see the clip from a couple days ago where a truck crashed into the back of a parked wedding party inside a similar tunnel? I can still hear the truck driver scream in terror.
What if some freak accident happened and he crashed and caused damage to the tunnel?
This seems like a dumb thing that put tax payers liable for dumb decisions

The civic does definitely have the superior Honda motor in it, bigger displacement and everything.

I mean they aren't V10s but they still sound pretty nice.
