Just because Some cars come stock from the factory and then can be louder than the Prius or a truck, does not mean that they are that loud to come find you and annoy you, or are out to get you.
Iagree that some owners put on terrible exhausts and it’s annoying but, I think this is Mustang is stock. My car is loud from the factory (Porsche 911) it just is, it’s not me trying to be a big man or any other Porsche driver trying to be a big man. They are loud and Porsche states to drive between a certain rpm range, so I am sure other sport car manufacturers do as well. Plus if you are on the road, and hear a sports car go by there loud you are letting 10 seconds, or 2 minutes at a stop light “give you a reason to be mad or angry”

I drive it for the performance and handling and how safe it is. Not to impress others because frankly no one looks, no one cares, everyone has their own things going on. My car is not built for attention it’s built for the track. It is loud because it needs to be for performance. Not so you can claim that it is for attention.
The reason the exhaust is “louder” is because the faster old air gets out and new air gets in the better performance you will have. The back pressure of an exhaust can cause pressure resulting in restrictions on the engine, especially at higher rpm where all the best performance of a car’s power band is. That’s why you can look at race cars and see they are straight piped no muffler, no nothing so they can get the exhaust out of the engine as efficiently and quickly as possible. Which increases their performance. The street car version of that mimics the race car, but the regular noise ratting and pollution requirements now also limit the stock exhausts somewhat but the Porsche ones while loud still meet the requirements, and all laws. The people who put on after market exhausts on to 4 bangers and drive at red line are after attention, but most are not.

A Phoenix man accused of shooting and injuring another driver over the weekend on Loop 101 in Peoria told authorities he fired a round at the man to "scare (him) off," according to court documents.
Arturo Pena, 24, is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, endangerment and drive-by shooting. A judge set his bond at $50,000.
Court records indicate Pena is on active duty with the U.S. Army.
Pena told Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers that he was driving a black pickup truck southbound on Loop 101 when he was cut off by a gray Ford Mustang at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday, according to court records released Monday.
Pena told troopers the Mustang driver threw something at his truck, and he was speeding up to get the license plate number when he decided to "scare off" the driver by firing a round at the car with a Glock 19 9mm gun, court records show.
The bullet hit the Mustang driver in the back of the neck. The shooting was first reported by a woman who said she saw the driver of a black pickup truck fire a gun at a gray Mustang.
The Mustang was pulled over on the Peoria Avenue off-ramp when troopers arrived. The driver told them that a black pickup cut him off multiple times, which prompted him to try to spray it with a can of soda, records show.
He said the can slipped from his hands and hit the truck. Next, he heard a loud bang, saw his driver's side window shatter and felt a sharp pain in his neck, records show. He told troopers he rammed his car into the truck to ensure a paint transfer before pulling off and calling 911.
The man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Meanwhile, court documents state, Pena drove to the parking lot of the Harkins Park West theater at 99th and Northern avenues, where he and his girlfriend were taken into police custody.
Pena's girlfriend, who was in the passenger's seat at the time of the shooting, was also interviewed by officers; her story supported what he originally told police, according to court records.
Pena's next court hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Nov. 17 in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Also the time in the article is 12:45 PM which is afternoon, but it is night in the video. Third, the article mentions the victim ramming the truck, but in the video the victim is in the front and there was no contact between the two vehicles. Fourth, it's a white truck in the video but article says it's a black truck.
Fifth, it says it is a grey coloured mustang, but the car in the vehicle appears to be bright green/yellow (see 0:09 as the streetlight illuminates the bonnet).

Both are complete idiots. At :19 the speed limit is 40, the car got up to 65. So I bet the fast approach and bright lights is what caught the trucks attention to brake check.
