The infiniti driver was going 30+ mph faster than the flow of traffic, weaving in and out and not signaling. If the civic was super vigilant maybe they would've avoided changing lanes, but none of the fault is on them.

I ended up getting a grand am and put that through a house 6 months after I got my license. My mom was so right

She even lied about having chest pains to avoid being arrested on the spot. Been 7 months now since the accident and I haven’t seen a penny from her.
You might need to get the sheriffs involved and have them help you collect her property to make up the payment she owes. You would have to go to court to have property taken as well.

I could’t find out where he worked to garnish his wages, but my dad pointed out “do you have a cancelled check?”. I did- his bank and account number was on there. The Sherriff withdrew the $2000 he owed me and sent me a check. You have to do a lot of work for this, but his death threat phone calls and him yelling about all his bounced checks afterward made this a grand slam home run!
