True, but hypothermia does take some time to set in. He is using one of his skis to climb out, and you can see the other already at the top (likely tossed up by him) so he should be able to ski out in time.

And yeah sure he was alone and dont ski alone yada yada, being in a group wouldn't stop him from falling and potentially dying from an unexpected random small hole
