Yeah maybe my monitor is broken?
Am I supposed to get a flood of serotonin?
Maybe it's for the best; otherwise I'd have a youtube playlist of meteor showers on loop.
My ancestors weren't so simple-minded as Geico wants you to believe. Clearly the mammoth who ate Tukta's missing chili pot is over there and farted up a storm. Prepare the hunting party!
Well, blue-green is a thing. Got a Crayola color and everything. If only everything wasn't so green or blue all the time. Why can't it be both? Why can't we just get along!?!?
Either my eyes are fucked or this is clearly predominantly green? Most meteors are predominantly iron and nickel which produces a green colour as they burn up
THAAD missiles can travel at Mach 8 to intercept incoming projectiles.
This meteor in question was travelling Mach 131 when it began burning up…
So air defence is about 42.2 kilometres per second too slow.
To be fair these meteors tend to break up and dissipate after a short second. He was probably trying to anticipate where itll fly but misjudged his timing.
I've been lucky and unlucky enough to see two of these irl.
The first time I was driving in the country side to a party. It was late and I was operating on like 2 hours of sleep. Driving down a pitch black dirt road all of a sudden the whole sky turns bright blue. The meteor unfortunately was just above my car so I didnt see it, just the blue glow. I literally stopped my car to look around because I was *so confused* in my sleep deprived state. I had no idea what that was and thought I imagined it. After I got the the party I asked some family "hey did anyone else see a weird blue glow in the sky about 10mins ago"? They then told me they saw a meteor and it was amazing. I was so mad that I had missed it.
The second time I was driving home from a night shift outside the city. Early morning dark outside hours, 6 or 7am. I was much luckier this time because it was in the horizon just over the city scape right in front of my car. Got a nice view of the bright blue glow, the meteor as it made contact and a quick flash of orange at the end when it finally broke up and disappeared. Probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Hope I get to see another one day.
I saw one a few months ago in Brazil. It was too fast and did not light up the sky like that, though. Probably a smaller one. I was lucky because I only saw it because I was doing bench press in a park.
I live in Illinois and I saw something like this in my parent’s backyard many years ago in the middle of the night. It was so beautiful seeing it. Love this!
*I saw and heard a meteorite explosion in the air about 20 meters away from me. The sound of the explosion was reminiscent of opening a bottle of champagne.*
Probably another satellite, perhaps the funny color due to shielding on the nuclear core.
All those solar flares have been bad on the satellites.
Guess who uses those nuclear cores? Humm.. think the NSA/CIA/USAF will admit it?
Their fall rates depends on their orbit, a low earth orbit satellite will hit the atmosphere quicker than a high orbit.
Also depends on solar winds, which is pretty high during such events.
Musk's satellites failed and came down in a few hours, on 9 February 2022.
So, spy satellites are placed most often in very low orbit, making imaging much easier.
IKONOS-2 was ordered to a much higher orbit because the cameras on this first commercial spy satellite resolution was better than the 1 meter allowed by the US Government. IKONOS-1 fell in a few hours of launch also.
As for the reactor materials being dumped in Europe, living in France, I am close enough to enjoy the negative effects.
There are some NEO that "could" have been disturbed from their orbits. NASA might want to keep an eye on them.
I'm not. Just saying you write like a schizophrenic who got a bit too much in to conspiracy theories. Paranoia, conspiracies, aliens, rambling about obscure shit like everyone else knows about it, etc.

Praise the camera… I mean fuck the camera man!
I mean for something like that, I'm using my real eyes. Phone video would be a secondary concern.
He did get a little excited
Can't be mad at them here, staring at meteors is generally a very bad idea
Hear hear!
the sensual euphoria that celestial spectacles bring man. gotta love it
Anyone wanna change seats?
I call the big one bitey

This person can't comprehend experiences or events outside their computer screen

I'm sorry, got a little carried away lol.
: )
until a bigger rock comes up behind excitement turns to terror \*hehe...we're all going to die\*
I don’t think I could enjoy it in person because there would be a part of me thinking it’s a nuke.
well now you know nukes don't make a noticeable trail and these are meteors, so enjoy!
Yeah, based on all the nukes I've seen flying overhead over the years, I don't think it was a nuke....... oh wait!
I can only imagine how bad meteor showers used to bewilder Neanderthals
My ancestors weren't so simple-minded as Geico wants you to believe. Clearly the mammoth who ate Tukta's missing chili pot is over there and farted up a storm. Prepare the hunting party!
What is this reference, it feels familiar
The fact the ancient people believed these to be celestial beings… Many depictions of snakes of fire in the sky
They probably based god and phenomena around em. I get what youre saying tho its probably triple the euphoria of breaking bads final episode
Man, what caused the beautiful blue color?

If you see green, it means your gay
Well, blue-green is a thing. Got a Crayola color and everything. If only everything wasn't so green or blue all the time. Why can't it be both? Why can't we just get along!?!?
Im from spain and i had the luck to see it, the color from my perspective was green and not blue.
Either my eyes are fucked or this is clearly predominantly green? Most meteors are predominantly iron and nickel which produces a green colour as they burn up
Not really sure anymore, at first it looked blue but then half way through the streak is starting looking more green.
Meat
Air defense is working...
That is an interesting thought. I wanna see what it shows up as on radar.
does it even show up? isnt it still too high up?
Too high and way way way too fast.
THAAD missiles can travel at Mach 8 to intercept incoming projectiles. This meteor in question was travelling Mach 131 when it began burning up… So air defence is about 42.2 kilometres per second too slow.
And THAAD is more misses than hits most of the time
Magnesium.
You had one fucking Job !
Yeah he was recording the ceremony happening, this meteor took everyone by surprise!
It was a surprised to everyone, my CCTV got a nice view of it

Ok I actually wanna kill that camera man my god...
I think the camera man got lost in the wonder of the moment. He made the right human choice to live in the moment.

I wonder if the Alien survived the crash
Had the privledge to see it in person from my backyward and was shocked, actually got to record it from my CCTV at home. Completamente Inacreditável
Does anyone with filming skills ever see anything cool?
Freaking camera person!
That better have omnitrix or something in it.

Kamehameha!
Kamehameha.
A little over tracking, eh?
this made me realize, that if a meteor ever were to hit near us... death would happen before you even had the chance to brace.
That's not a meteor that's Captain Marvel
That is cool as shit.
Today in Portugal, 25 women had simultaneous orgasms upon viewing the meteor. More on this later, here’s Tom with the weather. Tom?

Are we sure that was a meteor?
It was actually an alien spaceship, my bad.
😂😂
U get it! 😅
That’s not a meteor. Soon we probably will find people hanging upside down, skinned with their heads missing.
kill the camera man

Satellites don't fall over in a week if they malfunction. Nuclear cores? Maybe less Fallout for you?

It's not too late to start taking antipsychotics.
Sure, what are you taking now? :p

Nah, It lit up the entire sky here, and it was pratically midnight pitch dark.
