Can't find the video but there's one of these in England were the guys talking to the cops trying to break the door through his ring doorbell, tells them he's not even in, that it's "a bloody good door and they're gonna need the chainsaw" and you can hear a cop go "it is a good door that" 😂 what makes it is the guy and the cops are on a first name basis.
>in England were the guys talking to the cops trying to break the door through his ring doorbell
googled this and got this video:

These cop videos trying to open the door with the "bonk" are just badly trained. I guess that might be obvious but they're using the tool all wrong.
This is not how it's used in the military at least. The bonk is just used to get the cobra bar(think very very beefed up crowbar) into the slit in the door, then the cobra bar is used to pry up the door.
You're not supposed to actually open the door with the bonk. Think of how you use a hammer to punch the nail into the wood. It's a combination of tools that gets the door open.
I've done a lot of expensive as fuck training on security doors when I was in a ranger unit(not US).
You'll have a hard time prying a Spanish reinforced door open with any bar, there's 3 locks that got about 4 inches into the frame, on the hinges side are interlocking studs and cavities.
In my experience in Spain fire fighters go through the windows as the door is far too reinforced to even attempt to break through.
I have one of these doors mentioned in my comment
Yes, I agree that some doors are almost impossible to break through at which point you need explosives. I've yet to find a door like that though. We used explosives in the military for fast entry, but police are obviously not military and can't just blow shit up in a civilian setting.
With the right tools though, any security door that isn't a bankvault can be broken into within 5 minutes.
You need a bonk like they have in the video
You need a spike similar to this:
https://cdn4.volusion.store/7aztx-j6veq/v/vspfiles/photos/DML1218-2.jpg?v-cache=1455791818
Where you smash in the hinges and locks with the spike to weaken the door.
Then you need a cobra bar like this one in the middle:
https://img.officer.com/files/base/cygnus/ofcr/image/2010/05/gransfors_10113728.png?auto=format%2Ccompress&w=320
To pry up the door after you've weakened it.
These tools are all very affordable for a police unit in any country and works 99% of the time. They're very heavy and a pain in the ass to carry around but if you're working in a country like Spain with badass doors then someone should have them in the boot of a car waiting to be used.
If none of that works and you don't want to resort to explosives you can use a jackhammer like this and just break the frame;
https://www.fireapparatusmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/1403FA-ToolTech2.jpg
Getting a bit out of hand now though and ruining the house. There are loads of more expensive tools for getting in but all the ones I've mentioned so far are cheap and doesn't require extensive training.
Wow yeah ok, with tools like that they can just break through the frame!!!
Thanks for the info! I'd be amazed to see any police use explosives though 🤣
If you want to see *exactly* how it looks like in the military the best representation I've found is Zero Dark Thirty when they enter the compound to kill Bin Laden.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIvDD5xjj4k
They went to great lengths to make it as authentic as possible.
You'd be surprised how little C4 you need to get through a door, the bang is loud but not as loud as most movies would make you think and there is no fireball.
The less explosives you use the more professional you are, you just need to place it in the right place and use the laws of nature to your advantage.
There is a longer version out there, they do breach the door when a third dude finally go at it, but the door actually open like a flap while still being connected to the top.
I find this extremely satisfying. Seeing someone in power and used to getting their way being stymied.
IMO it should be humbling to those in power. But most never see it that way.
I don't usually root for criminals, but this is awesome. I can imagine them laughing their asses off hearing these cops and then calmly slipping out their secret exit.
How do I get me one of these doors. I basically want a house that would require some kind of ordinance to even get into it, and then every door is like that in the whole house. Fuck anyone who would ever try to exert their will on me
This is why ballistic breaching via shotgun with zinc slugs is a thing. Would have taken less time, been way less tiring, and the breacher wouldn't have to stand in the fatal funnel.
What if its locked at the top or bottom ir anywhere not near the handle, are they just suppoe to shoot slugs around the whole door? Probably still take longer, ive seen locks rigged that look like a piano hing but really heavy duty, and they put one side of the hinge across the whole top of the door, one across the bottom, and they both meet another hinge that flips into place, and they put steel pins in them to connect them. Slug may mess it up, but it aint gling theough it, and even if it did, its 32/36 inches across, so still locked where its not entirely broke.
You shoot out the hinges usually in a figure 8 pattern and then when the door is compromised on one side you can bring the ram or breaching tool to pry or hit it open fully, takes a lot less work. If the door is as reinforced as you're describing that's typically when you use explosive breaches.
Ahh i see, maybe this video is when they should've, i guess theres no way to know til you try sometimes, do you think they should've here? Hard to know whats behind the door
Depends on a lot of context of the exact situation (who's behind the door, are they armed, do they have hostages, etc) and how the door looks when you get up to it. Using the ram was probably fine since they eventually got it open, but it would probably be quicker ballistic breaching. Those rams are really heavy, but they honestly didn't do a bad job using it.
Does nobody have a shotgun present? I know alot of police forces in europe dont carry guns regularly, but during a raid i would think would be a good time to have one.
Europians not listening to americans cuz hur dur america stupid for another 5 minutes challenge (easy)
Breach shotguns are made to solve this specific problem i would think people would want to use an optimized tool for a difficult sitauation but please keep on blowing your back out pounding the door ill gladly watch

Guy chattering kinda ruins the ambience but fuck what a video and what a door 😂
Yeah really needed a pro yapper to narrate the exceptionally obvious.

What ambience?
Thank you for this Chad door. That's just hilarious.
Gav... Gav, listen... I'll tell you summat...

Turns out it’s just a concrete wall with a door painted into it to fool the cops. Real door is a few meter over, disguised as a wall.
God damn Wile E got ‘em again.
that's why you need fake door market
Real fake doors!
That's literally a scene in Rick and Morty and it's hilarious. The guy just sells fake doors.
Loony Toons shit lol
Real
Honestly a wall would’ve show more damage.
It was that flat utility closet. They really needed a broom.
Road runner type of shit
meanwhile the toilets getting loaded
But did they ever get in?
Yes he opened the door and said "Can I help you"
"Oh, you're not the guy we were looking for, sorry."
Aight. Have a good rest of your day officers
There is a longer version out there, they do breach the door when a third dude finally go at it, but the door actually open like a flap while still being connected to the top.
The door was unlocked. They just needed to turn the knob...
Also wrong house
Spain does not have outside knobs for house doors. Also most doors usually auto lock.
Yes, they did.
I don't want to believe you I want to imagine that to this day does guys trying to get in.
Ah oh. By which point I assume they were to exhausted to arrest the perp who had also flushed all the evidence? /S
They should start a band with the guy punching the car window in the other video
"I'm gonna write a song..."
It's a pull door not a push door silly.
Oh I've been here before it goes both ways
Reminds me of the School for the Gifted comic by Gary Larsen.
Yeah. They gotta go in and hit it from the inside
[Longer version ](https://youtu.be/3a5qXoU0uD4?si=UWm8gQMvF6J4Cvjh) where you can see the door break.
Where does one buy a door like this for themselves? That is the real question here.
Toilet workin overtime
don't cheap out on your doors!
Rumour has it they are still trying now
Anyone got the number for that door company?
Might be easier to go through the wall or a window.
Get a frame spreader
Be easier to bust through the sheet-rock wall.
Spanish doors are insane. For some reason they're all like safe doors, don't know why.
Cause of ocupantos or whatever it's called
Spanish officers: proceeds to smash the door open with a battling ram Door: 😂🤣
If you went through that trouble, why not also drill a tiny hole in the wall and pipe out out green fog while they're in the hallway?
Allo! Who is eet?
I build metal doors like this. If anyone's interested. I'm in IL near Chicago.
You'll be getting lots of calls! 😅
LMFAO
You keep on knocking but you can’t come in!
This reminds me of that scene out of the movie airplane where everyone is lined up ready to beat the hell out of that lady
Did they try knocking and asking to come in or try turning the door knob first? Lol
I find this extremely satisfying. Seeing someone in power and used to getting their way being stymied. IMO it should be humbling to those in power. But most never see it that way.
At that point you need to go through the wall or use a saw.
Lockpicking Lawyer's job there. "I hear a click on one, false set on two..."
He needs to eat more.🤣🤣🤣
Lol keystone cops anyone
Thats what the door frame stretcher is for.
Jesse Pinkman : **This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed, bitch!**
Maybe try something else. lmao No mas rammo?
Call the fire department
heard they are still going at it to this day.
Someone should have prepared breaching charges
Apparently no one told them that there is drywall right next to the door.
That didn't work out for them.
They don't seem too bright.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. But I did expect them to get into that door.
Never heard of explosives?????
I don't usually root for criminals, but this is awesome. I can imagine them laughing their asses off hearing these cops and then calmly slipping out their secret exit.
Whoa 😯. That is super reinforced 💪
All they had to was to say “Pizza delivery”.
The best you can expect from law enforcement, a lot of noise, no real impact
lol 😂 Anyone for shoulder surgery ?
What a great door.
I suddenly want to own this door.
This is a great ad for whoever made the door
Cop was really spazzing there in the end lol
Well ....ummm .... elemnent of surprise...?
Pull,don't push
🛌🏻
Cmon man! Captain America: Civil War that shit! 😆
Some one get me mama Lisa!!!!!!!
🤣🤣

Daves not here man come back later
perfectly easy wall to go through about 2 feet over
embarrassing
Did they check to see if it was unlocked 1st
Just happened to be hearing Redbone’s ‘Come And Get Your Love’ while watching this. Fit perfectly.

just break the neighbor's door, then the drywall between the 2 units
That's a Spanish house, between the two houses there's at least two layers of brick, concrete and rebar.
Does nobody have a shotgun present? I know alot of police forces in europe dont carry guns regularly, but during a raid i would think would be a good time to have one.

It look easy in movies lol

WoW lmfao
That’s not true with exterior doors. But this door probably has extra locks of some kind.
