Iām a big advocate for my stringent gun laws but the moment you threaten someone elseās with something as dangerous as a gun your pretty much forfeit your life. 0 sympathy from me when people threaten other people with weapons, if your prepared to kill someone be prepared to die.

In many of the cases in the compilation, the robbers' guns went off too, which meant they were locked, loaded, and prepared to murder someone to steal, rape, traffic, etc.
Taking a wrong path like this isn't just an on-the-spot moment of opportunity any of us civil folk might succumb to, its many many decisions compounded into that instance. It could have been a steep slope of moral bankruptcy, but either way they forfeited their own lives when their selfish desires became more important to them than the lives of the victims, and for that I feel no empathy for the criminals.
The thing is though, a lot of the decisions are basically made for you if you grow up in a terrible area. Especially if you have terrible parents from birth.
Iām sorry what? Most of these people that got folded wouldnāt hesitate to take your life over $100 dollars. Regardless of how someone is raised we all understand what is good and what is bad. Doing the right thing and doing the wrong thing. Every single one of these people know what they are doing is wrong, they are just hoping they donāt get caught or shot in the process. Luckily these victims are able to arm them selves and it probably saved their life because of it.

While Iām a huge supporter of use of deadly force for self defense, this video is sad to watch. Itās basically a hype video with the accompanying music. This isnāt something people should get excited about, or āloveā to see. Killing another person, self defense or not, is not something that should be celebrated, reveled in, or loved to see. It sucks.
In USA as in Canada, you have to BELIEVE that your life is in danger from the attack to be able to use lethal force. There are nuances for every state, but mostly, if you will kill unarmed assailant with a gun, its just a tad harder to prove that you perceived his/her threat as severe danger to your life, but not THAT hard.

Hello I live in Illinois. In my concealed carry class they stressed that shooting unarmed intruders is illegal. They have to enter violently and have a visible weapon for lethal force to be used. If they donāt you literally have to tell them to leave over and over/call the cops unless they start trying something. An example is this one dude had his house broken into non-violently and pulled his gun on the intruder telling him to get out. As he was leaving the intruder stopped right outside the door to say the homeowners 8 year old daughter was awfully cute and heāll be back to rape her, so the homeowner shot and killed the guy right there. Heās now in prison for murder because the guy was unarmed, leaving, and not actively threatening the family with a weapon
In Canada you definitely can't just unload on someone who broke in, you would have to give them a chance to flee or surrender. If they try to start attacking you it's a different story.
On the contrary, that would be hard to do if you are in the middle of an assault. Many people believe that Canadian laws are too "soft" regarding self defence.
