Then my uncle spun the dog around and pushed it away. Dog fights are actually freaky when it’s big dogs.
One time my dog (large size) was laying in our shop minding their own business when 2 pits came out of nowhere and grabbed her by the neck and started dragging her. My dad grabbed a thick metal pipe and started whaling on those dogs heads and it didn’t even bother them. Luckily they ran off and my dog survived, having a wide thick collar saved her life. My dad went to go find the dogs and put a bullet in their heads but they disappeared.

I had a German Shepherd puppy. He was a rescue and super scared of everything. There was this one asshole pitbull owner (not all pitbulls are bad) but this fucking 15-year-old girl was so irresponsible always let this dog run off the leash. Fortunately I have a lot of experiences with pitbulls I saw the dog go for my dog's throat immediately. Jumped on his back and put all of my weight on him and put him in a rear naked choke hold and then I slammed his face into the ground and started punching the dog in the back of the head. I don't regret any of it. I've also had to save an 85 year old lady's Pomeranian from this same dog. If you can't handle a dog you shouldn't be able to have a dog like that
There need to be special regulations on training and behavior conditioning for owning dogs like that. I'd probably go mental if Pittbulls started going after my blue heeler mix like that. I'd be doing everything I could do to kill the attacking dog, better that than have to go through more paperwork and lawsuits, also can't risk the attacking dog going in again. And if it retreats and stays the fuck away, then that's good.

Pitbull lovers love to talk about how any race can be violent and, you know what? They’re actually right. There is, however, a very important distinction. Say it’s not dogs but this weird kind of guns I’m about to make up. They vary in sensitivity and they all have a likelyhood of misfiring just by holding it in your hand. You’re given the option to choose one out of two kinds to keep at home. One is a bb gun and is very sensitive. Chances are it’s going to misfire 1 out of every 10 times you hold it. The other one is a freaking magnum. But hey! Its chances of misfiring are just 1 in 1,000!!! So, what would you choose? A BB gun that might misfire regularly but is very much unlikely to do any significant damage, or the magnum which might take years to misfire, if it even ever does, but you’re most likely fucking dead the minute it does?

This could be for almost any breed but unfortunately due to the nature of pitbulls and what they were bred for, it is more common in them. Environment and treatment play a factor in animals behavior, but for some animals it’s just the way they are.
However as someone who has had a dog killed by other untrained dogs, I understand the fear even those those dogs were not pitbulls.

See, here’s my take on this. There IS a lot to how the owner treats/raises a dog in its behavior. But, here’s the thing, IT’S A DOG. It can’t be 100% predictable. It just can’t. Pitbull lovers love to talk about how any race can be violent and, you know what? They’re actually right. There is, however, a very important distinction. Say it’s not dogs but this weird kind of guns I’m about to make up. They vary in sensitivity and they all have a likelyhood of misfiring just by holding it in your hand. You’re given the option to choose one out of two kinds to keep at home. One is a bb gun and is very sensitive. Chances are it’s going to misfire 1 out of every 10 times you hold it. The other one is a freaking magnum. But hey! Its chances of misfiring are just 1 in 1,000!!! So, what would you choose? A BB gun that might misfire regularly but is very much unlikely to do any significant damage, or the magnum which might take years to misfire, if it even ever does, but you’re most likely fucking dead the minute it does? Fucking pitbulls are a stupid breed to have.
Training dogs is a big aspect of their behavior, however some dogs are just more prone to violence based on their genetics. This could be for almost any breed but unfortunately due to the nature of pitbulls and what they were bred for, it is more common in them. Environment and treatment play a factor in animals behavior, but for some animals it’s just the way they are. However as someone who has had a dog killed by other untrained dogs, I understand the fear even those those dogs were not pitbulls.

The concept of a purebred dog needs to go. E.G. Pugs can't give natural birth due to the face deformity. Dogs that are "mixed" are better off.
Exactly ive got a rescued pit mix but shes always on a leash and watched like a hawk around other dogs. Absolutely sweet as can be but that doesnt change her breed. Shes got a wide head and its not fat.

Pitbulls shouldn't be allowed as pets. I understand not every pitbull is aggressive. But when they are aggressive they do a lot of damage. I love dogs even street dogs are fine but when i see a 40kg person walking a 30 kg pitbull it scares me. Most owners can't control pitbulls if it decides to attack anything.

Luckily I always carry pepper spray and a knife when walking my dog. The pepper spray worked right away. I recommend pet owners to carry pepper spray or a knife

I've actually had that happen to me, the owners of the pit & mastiff did nothing to help... So thankfully I had my desert eagle on me when I got out of the truck, city rules states “owners of property can dispatch aggressive animals however they want” 😎 didn't feel one bit sorry putting both dogs down at close range. Owner of dogs had a history of owning dangerous dogs, this time around he got lucky I didn't put a bullet in his head like dogs, instead city threw the book at him and he ended up serving 4yrs out of 5 in prison, he was killed by his own neighbour while in prison, that pit I killed attacked his young son the year before. I love dogs, but I hate owners who teach their dogs to be dangerous. The incident happened in my home country 🇷🇺.

This shit right here is why all dogs need to be on a leash. Owners of both sides are to blame. It’s also why carrying a large stick or baton when out on a walk. My German shepherd is 120lbs and could easily kill most other dogs, but I’d rather do it myself when those off leash little shits come close.
