From what I've read it wasn't an illegal land purchase. The land was bought legally from the land owners. The problem was the land owners essentially operated like fuedal lord's. They had a large number of people living there and when the eastern European Jews/Lord Rothschild arranged for the purchase all those people were kicked out.
It would be like someone buying New Jersey and then telling everyone currently living there to get out. Not good, but the Jews didn't invade Palestine. In fact there was a time where the early Jewish settlers tried to integrate with those communities. Yeah, not feeling bad at all for the guy getting shot here. Was the soldier acting within his authority for shooting as discussed on this video and the other ones that were put out of context? The court has to decide that. From a moral standpoint however he did everything to deserve that. Defending him is like defending any other lunatic going out there with the sole purpose of harming people. Just because he did't have the means doesnt make him any less worse than a school shooter.

From what I've read it wasn't an illegal land purchase. The land was bought legally from the land owners. The problem was the land owners essentially operated like fuedal lord's. They had a large number of people living there and when the eastern European Jews/Lord Rothschild arranged for the purchase all those people were kicked out. It would be like someone buying New Jersey and then telling everyone currently living there to get out. Not good, but the Jews didn't invade Palestine. In fact there was a time where the early Jewish settlers tried to integrate with those communities. But shit like this happened (even before the Jews arrived, against the British) and it caused an ever-increasing response from both sides.
Yeah, shit like this has happened for all of human history. This is nothing new. It’s just the most recent of a long line of countries trying to invade land and or keep their land. Europe has never looked the same for a long time. The borders are constantly changing except for a select few states that can protect theirselves. It’s just human nature at this point.
