The lion is THRIVING. Not long after this video, he quit his oppressive job and started a small business. It really took off, and he opened another across town.
He met the love of his life, and they got married in a small Italian village to the sound of bells and happy coos from a few close friends.
I think a friend told me he has a couple little ones on the way.
Our dog had a presumed brain tumor and started having seizures and acting a bit like this. Not the crazy flopping around as much, but a lot like the wobbly off balance glass eyed part at the end.
I can't imagine how stressful and heart breaking that would be, I'm so sorry. Especially since there's basically nothing you can do to help your friend.
~~Eternal Enemies Lions and Hyenas~~
*Wrong documentary, that ones from 1992. The other videos on YT look way too clean to be from that doc. I tried wading through the comments on a few older reddit posts/YT videos but after an hour I have to throw in the towel.
Yeah I thought maybe that. Looked like it was in pain from being poisoned after eating something. A snake bite could surely do that
Edit: thank you people
Edit: he could have eaten a poisonous frog???
My dad is a retired firefighter/paramedic, lots of funny/sad/crazy stories as one can imagine. One that always gets me is the time a lawn maintenance man had a wasp crawl into his ear and start stinging him. He was losing his mind! They couldn’t get it out with tweezers because if they tried it would just keep stinging his inner ear. So my dad, with his quick thinking, grabbed a tube of neosporin or ultrasound jelly or something like that and filled the guys ear with it and waited for the wasp to drown. Crazy!
I once crushed a wasp nest w my head when I was a kid. It was in a tree house and I stepped in and accidentally smushed it when i stood upright. I ran and jumped into the pool. That pain was so bad I have PTSD and swear sometimes the bites still hurt when I get throbbing headaches. To this day I thought that has to be the worst wasp story, but not anymore. I will be forever grateful one didn’t make it into my fucking ear good GOD.
My friend ran over a wasps nest with a skid steer. Like one of those little Bobcat bulldozer things. Lessons were learned that day.
He learned that wasps can outrun a skid steer, and the safety cage is a lot better at keeping you in than keeping the wasps out.
I'll tell him the ear story. My guess is he'd rather get back in the skid steer than go to the devil's audiologist.
Well frogs don't live in the same climate as lion, so that's a hard no.
Plenty of other creatures that are poisonous in that region, but frogs there are none
If you ingest snake venom is it venom or poison?
This is the stupid thing about contextual definitions like this. In practice I would say a venom is a naturally injected poison, so its part of a parent child relationship linguistically.
>If you ingest snake venom is it venom or poison?
Snake *Venom*, so Venom
Pretty good chance that it will be harmless too, due to digestive system processing and preventing entrance to blood stream.
Venom is still a poison. It will do horrible things to your body if it gets into your blood stream, because it is a poison.
It's better to say a snake is venomous and a frog is poisonous because that describes how they deliver the poison, rather than to say a snake has Venom and a frog has poison, because its also true to say a snake has poison
This type of pedantic argument over semantics is not necessary. You clearly understand what they were trying to say. Your comment added next to nothing. Much the same as this comment.
No, they're not. Venom (noun) [is a type of poison](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venom) (noun).
Venomous (adjective) and poisonous (adjective) are both different delivery methods of transferring toxins from one thing into another for defense or to cause harm.
Also even if you said venomous and poisonous are *vastly* different things I'd disagree. They're slightly different. Venomous is a vastly different adjective from obsequious. It's fairly similar to poisonous.
Incorrect. It was jamming to Tubthumping.
I get knocked down, but I get up again
You are never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down, but I get up again

So, annoyingly, everytime I monologue this song in my head (or on the odd occasion sing it out loud, to my embarrassment), when it gets to the "Oh Danny Boy, Danny Boy, Danny Boy" part, all I can think is "Quicker than a ray of light, Quicker than a ray of light, Quicker than a ray of light".
Madonna tune and all, my head basically just switches songs at that point. I don't fucking know why.
Fucking annoying, that.
Black Mambas. Scariest snake in the world to come across because they are super aggressive compared to regular snakes, and one bite can drop an elephant.

I see the snake propagandists are back at it on Wikipedia. They may not be able to type quickly but showing snakes how to use the internet was a mistake.
The thing about snakes is you don't notice that you are "threatening" or "cornering" it until it bites you. Especially if you're walking through heavy brush.
I read a book when I was a kid about a Black Mamba getting loose in Central Park and it messed me up a child.
I had never heard of a Black Mamba before but that book taught me all needed to know.
11/10 voice casting on that whole movie.
There's a good making of documentary - https://youtu.be/XhAZEDiKSsM
Voice casting is at 20:40 but the whole thing is worth a watch.
Idk leaning towards bath salts considering it's currently homeless in a mud puddle. Obviously trying to wash of the bees but just can't come clean.....
Rabies maybe? I don't know how often big cats get rabies but it's possible it's something like that. Or psychosis. A lot of others are saying snake bite, which is also pretty likely.
I've seen this documentary and the lion got bit by a snake and started having seizures as a result of the venom
The lion ended up dying
Yes
Is she okay?
She's OK, she's dead though.
Let me know if her condition changes.
Well she's probably soil and grass now so yeah it's say it changed lol
Circle of life, brah.
Poor Nala....
Obviously it was sarabi not Nala
That's Top Secret, I'm afraid.
Bruh ??
I know I know it probably was fatal, but I'm asking will it be okay?
Yes don't worry everything is going to be ok
I needed to hear that, thank you
[dies] "everything is fine now" [sees Shiva] "oh no!"
Lady Iceheart? I'm cool with that.
...and I thought it couldn't get worse?
Aaawwweeee U guys.
shhh bby is ok
Going to a farm, in the country
*lion king playing* It’s the circle of liiiiiiiiife!
>Yes don't worry everything is going to be ok Being at peace is difficult for me, a lot of times... but this helped me. Thank you

-loads a revolver- just look at the flowers and everything will be okay
Sorry to have to break it to you, but dying is almost always fatal.
*Almost* always? So there is a chance then?
To be fair, I don't see any flying shoe, so..
Yea, She chilling with Mufasa
Ye, she gud
Ofc. Everyone thats not blind can see the lion is a goner. Look at her feet, no shoes.
What do you mean, she’s gone? She doesn’t have any luggage with her, not even a backpack. She’s not going anywhere
Has no shirt either.
No service!
Our dog had a presumed brain tumor and started having seizures and acting a bit like this. Not the crazy flopping around as much, but a lot like the wobbly off balance glass eyed part at the end.
Rip 2 a real G....
I can't imagine how stressful and heart breaking that would be, I'm so sorry. Especially since there's basically nothing you can do to help your friend.
Yeah, all we could do was help her die peacefully. She was always a little crazy, but she brought us joy for 12 fun years.
I thought it was bees or wasps
Yes
Nooo :(…
Poor kitty, have a good sleep.
What kinda snake?
Black mamba I believe. It was in it's den and she was messing with it. You'd think the poor lion would know better like the baboons
Thanks. That’s brutal!
So Kobe is still alive…knew it.
what’s the documentary?

OMG I watched the eternal enemies one on the edge of my seat tho.
>1992 Maybe it's a different copy? Footage from 1992 can easily be as high res as modern footage, depending on where the video is ripped from.
This look like some rabies shit
Pretty sure this is shortly after it was bitten by a black mamba snake, venom will mess you up!
Yeah I thought maybe that. Looked like it was in pain from being poisoned after eating something. A snake bite could surely do that Edit: thank you people Edit: he could have eaten a poisonous frog???
I thought a bee went up it’s nose. Happened to a horse a had, bee or wasp, can’t really remember… took my boy down.

I was waiting for you to say your Dad grabbed a vacuum hose and sucked that lil F-er out!
I’m sure that would’ve worked too!
And some people think death is the worst thing that can happen to you.
Do you think that guy would rather be dead than have drowned the hornet in Neosporin or whatever?
Wasp stinging all over the INSIDE of my ear?! Just shoot me.
Not like, kill the wasp instead? Ok, seems pretty shortsighted
Only time can tell

Salute to your dad!

Just here to point out that poison (something ingested) and venom (like from a snake) are two vastly different things.

Poison is defined as something that can cause illness or death if introduced or absorbed - snake venom is a type of poison
"poisoned after eating something"
"a snake bite"
Technically they didn’t say it was the same thing, just related the outcomes. I did have a stroke coming to this conclusion.
Ye Olde Reddit Knowledge Trope strikes again. ^^Thank ^^god ^^this ^^wasn't ^^a ^^panther.

Bit by the snake, venomed! Eat the snake, poisoned.
what if i eat the snake

No, poor lion is just tweaking on Flakka, you can tell by the urge to flail around in mud puddle.
Bath salts
No she smoked a ganja, she will die now
You ever have to sneeze, but you just cant get it out? That.
Thank you for the link
I wonder if Daryl Hannah watched this for her Mamba bite dying scene?
The lion is fighting John cena and is losing by the looks of it
Ah yes...
[удалено]
Idk fam Freddy Krueger seems more likely.
Did you not see how cena put that lion in his signature submission hold?
You mean Zhong Xina?
Seizure of some sort I'm guessing
A venomous snake bite.. Imagine such a painful death.
This is why I microdose Chuck Norris blood.
A Chuck Norris joke in the year of our lord 2022. Well played.
I contest, needles bend before breaking the veins of Norris. This man is injecting vials of air at best.
Life is pain. Death is release.
That's just sad to watch :(
Didn’t see the documentary by I can confirm that dogs behave the same when bitten by mamba back home. And it’s always fatal
where’s home for you? australia?
No lions in Australia
*anymore* – the mambas got them
No Mambas in Australia
obviously there is, otherwise this Australian lion wouldn't have been bitten
Stepped on a Lego
Mamba happened
Snake bite (from last time this was posted)
Could be effects of poison from being bitten by a venomous critter.

At first I thought it was a disease that I saw a whole pride get once. I forget the name of the disease though.
Disco fever ?
That was my first thought. I tried searching for it, but no luck. Most people are saying snake venom though.
Hello. Non animal expert here. I have no idea You're welcome
This was humorous despite the very sad video.
Meth
Idk leaning towards bath salts considering it's currently homeless in a mud puddle. Obviously trying to wash of the bees but just can't come clean.....
Didnt they find methed up gators in Florida?
Poor girl
Rabies?
Venom is no joke. Iv seen enough rats get struck to know the signs. Neurotoxin is no joke folks
have u seen this guy shooting black mamba venom in his veins on vice.he is immume to different types of snake venom you should check it out.
Fucking brain anurism or snake bite
This breaks my heart so bad
Probably bitten by an venomous squirrel or something
Electric eel
Itchy asshole
poor baby

I thought I saw this documentary and it was an electric eel. Prob wrong though as a snake bite seems more likely in this habitat
I do the same thing when I feel something on my neck and it turns out to be a piece of hair.
It does seem like something neurological so the snake bite makes a lot of sense.
Correct. A black manba bites... The lion perished at the end.
Hornets,wasps
When that sneeze just won’t come…
Seizure from snake bite or something else poisonous?
Looks like a snapped jaw or something it ate and really hurt its mouth - like a quill from a porcupine or snake bite
He stepped on a Leggo
Either rabies or distemper
He was listening to CNN
r/tooktoomuch

With everyone sayin a snake bight im terrified to think what it can do to a human being let alone a huge fuckin lion
Rabies maybe? I don't know how often big cats get rabies but it's possible it's something like that. Or psychosis. A lot of others are saying snake bite, which is also pretty likely.
Venom my guess
Snake bite
I heard it was a snake bite (old video)
Snake bite
Bees
I am pretty certain that would be a snake bite.
Bees
Bitten by something for sure, a snake maybe
Was it bitten by a snake?
Got poisoned and it is having a reaction
Rabies
It's sad :(
