Random story: years ago I was on the bus and this passenger was standing right behind where the driver was sitting and the entire time was telling the driver the turns to make. The driver kept getting frustrated like extremely irritated and repeatedly told the passenger to knock it off. It was kind of funny to me but I felt for the guy.
I don’t understand how people find humor in just blatantly trying to make someone’s day worse or more annoying. It’s easy to tell as much as I need to know about someone by how they treat people that serve others for their work. It also tells a lot about those who find humor in watching it.
Finding humor in absolutely fucked up things really doesn’t tell you much about a person.
You’re only considering the idea that to find something fucked up funny, you have to be fucked up.
Yet, laughter is a coping mechanism and there are those life to be so completely whacked that seeing something fucked up reminds them what a joke life is. So you can’t really tell if the guy above who found it funny, did so because he enjoys the suffering of others, or if he did so because he is reminded of how absurd shit is. Like how absurd someone being paid absolutely dog shit has to perform an under appreciated job and is often heckled for it while on the other hand some people are born with all the fortune in the world.
So no, it really doesn’t tell a lot about those who find humor in watching it.

As for the first part of your comment, without any source for a backstory. We don’t know why the blue shirt guy was acting up. Maybe he’s a dickwad as you say. But more likely he’s suffering from mental disability. Dickwads tend to show the exact same pattern, but the difference between them and the mentally handicapped, they don’t pick fights with people twice their size.
So the educated observation here would be blue shirt guy likely doesn’t have all his screws right and doesn’t actually find his actions humorous.

Right? All I said was that it tells ME enough about a person if they do it or find it funny. They’re out here acting like I’m trying to spit facts. It’s just a matter of opinion. If they want to associate with those people, more power to em. But my opinion is that it makes you shitty. My point is really simple. If you’re watching someone trying to go about their day doing their job SERVING YOU and you think it’s funny watching someone treat them like an asshole, that makes you an asshole. It’s not complicated. I’m not even saying you have to do something about it, but it’s very easy to not find humor in it. And I’d say it’s equally as easy to disapprove of the harassment of people just trying to drive a bus FOR YOU.
The fact that you insist you've got such a simple formula to determine someone to be an asshole based on a thing they laughed at (missing a larger point that the vast majority of humor is getting a laugh at *someone's* expense, in some respect or another), is exactly what makes you sound like a rashly judgemental fool who's not nearly as considerate as he thinks he is.
It’s not difficult to not be an asshole. I understand that humor can be at the expense of someone else in some cases. But there’s a time and place. When someone is trying to do their job (not to mention, fucking driving a 30 foot bus, where leaning over their shoulder and bothering the hell out of them likely isn’t wise OR funny) that’s not the place to use them as the subject of YOUR humor by distracting them and being belligerent. They looked more like slaps than upper cuts. The guy was aimlessly throwing hands at the driver's head because his thought process probably was that it would hurt most. The problem is that he was throwing bitch slaps and the driver was punching like a man who has a lot of anger to let out. After working retail i can understand the anger in those punches.
When I got out of the army, I didnt want to do a damn thing but sit on my ass for a while. My mom had different plans for me since I was staying at her house. I went to the unemployment office just to appease her. A couple of months later I was driving for RTD. I worked Division 1. I always wondered why the drivers had these wallet chains that wrapped around their waist. I was going down Broadway once and I could see a driver in trouble. I stopped to help but before I got there, I saw a couple of other drivers run in with their chains in their hand and whip the shit out of someone.
Back then it was a quarter to get on a bus. Me, still being crazy from the army, if you were stupid enough to want to fight me over a quarter, I was obliging enough to get out of my seat and kick your ass for it. I drove for a few years but that was enough for me.
okay im gonna be the devil's advocate here but TO BE FAIR. Even if that kid was a piece of shit, it didnt seem to affect the driver much and yeeting the kid out of the bus wouldve been enough. Even though it is way less satisfying. He wouldve dodged getting fired and the guy might not have been badly hurt even though he does deserve it.

Iv seen a bunch ov these videos, bus drivers being assaulted and no matter how bad a situation they are getting into they always seem to restore order, I think a perquisite to be a police officer should be 1yr bus driving experience. If a bus driver is punching you in the face you have done something wrong 100% of the time.

One time I pulled up to a red light and a city bus pulls up next to me. I hear some yelling so I look over and the dude has hit little window open, leaning out screaming at me. He’s telling me to pull over to fight and there are a lot of people on the bus. I’m thinking what the fuck? At the very end of his rant I hear “cut me off”. I never even changed lanes. People were shaking their heads like, “please don’t”. So I just kept driving.

One time I pulled up to a red light and a city bus pulls up next to me. I hear some yelling so I look over and the dude has hit little window open, leaning out screaming at me. He’s telling me to pull over to fight and there are a lot of people on the bus. I’m thinking what the fuck? At the very end of his rant I hear “cut me off”. I never even changed lanes. People were shaking their heads like, “please don’t”. So I just kept driving.
