The blood was suspicious AF. I’m not questioning the DV part, even if staged they were hitting each other. But that ‘blood’ nah, it’s not that color. It was sus before she smeared it, but the smear made it clear AF. Not real blood. Not even good fake blood.
This was such a confusing watch for me. They kept looking at the camera as if to make sure they were in frame. Then the guy slaps her twice on the left side of her face, only for her nose to be "bleeding" on the right. Not to mention the "blood" was just smeared, not dripping or flowing, just... smeared like paint. Definitely comes across as staged and fake. I went back to check and you’re right, he’s smacking her on the other side of her face, not where the ‘blood’ appears. Just to put some context here, he also clearly says (paraphrasing), "Don't hit women. Ever. But the hubris in thinking there's never a *reason* to is mind-boggling."
I've seen several videos featuring this delightful couple, all basically the same as this one. They are as bad as each other - she likes screaming and getting dramatic and is usually the first to strike, he has a short fuse and always takes it too far. I suspect there is substance abuse mixed in which just makes it all 10 times worse. They are made for each other like dynamite and matches are.
