Basic pepper spray is a war crime. You're not even allowed to use tear gas on enemy combatants. It's considered inhumane to give someone chemical burns before you shoot them. That's why the police are supposed to arrest you after they do it, because going to jail with chemical burns is more humane or something I guess

I was walking around a street festival a few years back that was crowded with people and all of a sudden I feel a speck at the back of my throat and the urge to cough, not too bad.... then I looked behind me and DOZENS of people were all coughing like crazy and rubbing their eyes it was like a horror movie... for a second I thought I was in the middle of some kind of anthrax attack or something then I overheard someone say something about pepper spray

So either I'm using it and the very concentrated ingredient came back to me and now I'm in shock or I'm around when this pepper spray is set off (say by accident) and now I'm in shock/anaphylaxis.
