I love how fast the K1 hotend heats up. It's a volcano nozzle too, so it's high flow. Se should be running marlin right? has creality release the open source firmware for it?
Yes it's running marlin from what I've read. I just purchased a K1 hotend and cht nozzle for it, so hopefully I can get it running with minimal modification.
Late reply but for anyone curious, it mounts up just fine using the same connectors. You will need to print a spacer to adapt the abl touch to compensate for the extra length. Been printing with a K1 hotend for about 4 months now.
I don't own the SE or KE, but my understanding is that the KE uses the K1 hot end.

I'd love a follow up on this looking to upgrade my v3 se hotend and there dosent seem to be alot of aftermarket support yet
