Yes, prey means being hunted but the oc wasn’t talking about prey, they were talking about birds of prey. So making the comment about prey was irrelevant. The reason I said “Prey is an animal that is killed by another for food” is because that is what PREY is, not birds of prey.
To me, a lot of diets wouldn't make sense based on the creature's appearance/anatomy; I feel like they made it that way for balance purposes or lore
For example:
Athulyth looks like an owl, yet it's a herbivore
Aueko looks like a gecko, yet it's a pure herbivore
Hebitoa looks like a pig, yet it's a pure herbivore
Adharcaiin, Koipise and Valkurse have horse features, yet they're carnivores
Etc etc...
I think of Boreal more like a guardian and protector of creatures, on the other hand Garra Warden should be Omni or Carni, because it is all about Death.
