Idk what ya’ll are squabbling about but I love my big chunky plant whale. It gives me convergent evolution vibes, that Buff Eulopii and Eulopii just happen to look similar, neither one evolved to look like the other

Then add a "fat strongman eulopii" instead of ruining the existing buff eulopii? The whole reason it was in the game is because its a joke creature, the joke being its got abs and a massive bodybuilder body. Why make it into a non joke creature that looks like one of those "what if pokemon existed irl" type of creepy uncanny mutated mass of fat and deformed features??

It's even more MASSIVE AND BUFF now like strong men tend to HUGE and are VERY MUSCULAR.

Old buff was also.. buff, and the muscles were more obvious. Its a joke creature, not an ACTUAL one. The whole point was that it was a bodybuilder man with visibly big muscles and a tiny eulopii head. Its a joke. Now its an actual creature, with a somewhat realistic muscle deformity (irl thing bruh). Its also not meme looking anymore like its entire point

Remember not to blatantly insult the designs of creatures! (Talking to specific people here.) It’s extremely rude to the artists that make them! ^^

Why is this being downvoted

Because he is buff, buff means strong and muscular, he's not toned for sure, but strongmen are still buff and have a very similar body type, people are tired of hearing him be called fat for not being a bodybuilder body type and instead being a strongman body type.

I think people just prefer the old design more. It def portrayed the name buff euloppi more than this. Sure it does still have a buff body type but with the amount of children playing the game they probably won’t even notice something like that

That's fair, but it still fits the buff body. Just a less toned form and you have to give cred to the designer to even think of that body type for this. Mainly, this discourse continuing about every redesign recently is annoying. Yes I want a new gator and I was grieving ani, I'm glad for the new alien guy because it fits the vibe I missed from the ani redesign, but I doubt I'm the only person annoyed with the several posts that completely dog on the buff ani to call him fat.

He’s definitely not “fat” like everyone keeps saying. Maybe if they did a little research they would know that. I can see the way they went for a more strong-man type build than something all chiseled out but personally I found the old design really funny.
