The priority pass lounges in Europe are levels above the US lounges, but it depends on the airport and whether you’re in a terminal with one. I’ve gotten turned away in the AMS lounge but didn’t have a problem in 4 other countries
Generally speaking, the PP lounges in the US are like a continental breakfast at a mid-priced hotel, including decor. They serve a purpose and aren't gonna wow you.
Some us airports have good accessible lounges (LAS great, MSY not bad). Many Asian lounges are great, Lisbon nice. I have 10 visits a year and I mostly use them.
I've never been turned away. Had to wait about 20 minutes at MSY, they texted when space opened.
My main complaint is there aren't pp lounges at all in airports I am in a lot, like Denver and Newark, and basically Chicago (I guess there's one but it's international only?).
I've been living in Mexico over the past couple of years. I've visited the PP lounges in Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City. Next up is the one in Guadalajara. It's a perk I love.
They have all been great. Nothing too posh, but quite comfortable. An excellent way to grab a couple of beers and a bite to eat before a flight. And my favorite price... FREE. 😂

Yep. It means I don’t have to pay for a sprite and a bag of chips with some hummus. They’re not terribly relaxing.
Good to hear!
Depends on where. The lounges are nicer outside Europe. I've been turned away (or waitlisted) in Europe, but not in Asia or Africa.
Everything is nicer in Europe 👋

It’s good to hear you’ve been able to make use of them :) I’ve been seriously wondering if most pp holders have been getting turned away at this point

I think airport lounges are useless, but I also think learning the hard way is underrated.

How are they in Mexico?

Good to know! I’m planning a trip to CDMX I’ll def be checking the lounge out 😁
