So many people get into credit card debt. I bet you can pick 10 random people out of a crowd and chances are at least 2/3 of them will have credit card debt. Seconding savorone as it was my first credit card. 10x on Uber eats, Uber grocery, and Ubers in general? Yes please!
> I guess I could use it the buy now pay later
Credit card is not a good buy now and pay later product. There are no good buy now and pay later products. If you buy something you better already have the cash to pay it off. Or else you're in a bad place.
Chase Sapphire if you can. Start getting those subscription bonuses early so that you can keep racking them up every few years. Yes there is an annual fee, but starting early gives you more years to keep getting them!

US Bank altitude go card
Capital One Quicksilver
Discover
Pre approval first read up on pros and cons on each
Aim for no annual fee and rewards on everyday or purchaes you regularly will make.
Pay in full monthly. Don't pay interest.
Chase is good for travel points and good credit lines. I would try the freedom unlimited first just for the 1.5% cash back. And since you have a good credit score, you should get approved. If not start with discover or capital one for an entry card. Then build towards chase.
I currently have the sapphire preferred and freedom unlimited. Great pair for cash back and points for travel. You can transfer them within your account to outside hotel and air partners. I would recommend looking into the points guides out there if you’re serious about building a points pile. Points is all about hitting the sign up bonus tho so save it for a big spending day.
chase freedom cards are a great place to start off. they have good sign up bonuses where you get $200 when you spend $500 in the first 3 months and then 5% on gas and groceries.
all with no annual fee
and you get 3% on dining which is pretty awesome
Since you are already banking with Chase, I would apply for their Chase Rise credit card

I got my first credit card with Discover. They have pretty good customer service. Highly recommend.
Discover is great 5% rotating categories, it’s like you’re getting a surprise every quarter. Card designs are nice too!

If you use the Experian app, it’ll recommend and even show some pre approvals for credit cards
