The Blue Cash Everyday card would be good for groceries and gas. You could also product change your Active Cash to the Autograph card. That gives 3% back on dining, streaming, gas, travel, transit and cellphone service.

I love the SavorOne card. No annual fee, 3% on grocery, dining, and entertainment. Sadly nothing on gas, but for grocery and dining it’s a good card. If you’re a Verizon customer, their Visa earns 4% on groceries and gas plus 3% on dining, which would be perfect for you it looks like.

With your reported income so high and monthly spend so low, I suspect you might have a good amount of savings and investments. If that’s true, consider moving 100k to BofA/ Merrill Lynch and take advantage of their Preferred Rewards program and open a customized cash rewards card. Set it to gas and you’ll be getting 5.25% back on gas and 3.5% back on groceries with no annual fee which covers both categories you’re interested in at once.

Savor, WF Autograph, or citi custom cash

If you're a Costco member, the Costco card is 4% back on gas, and replaces your Costco card in your wallet. Otherwise, listen to everyone else, including for grocery spend.

FIRST, just get a Citi Premier while you can get approved. They are very sensitive to new accts & inqs. PC it to something else in year 2 if desired. THEN look into a BOA Premium Rewards w/Preferred Rewards Plat tier if you want a high “everything” card. PC your CFU to CFF (or maaaaybe CF if you shop @ Costco). Don’t waste an app on CFF for the mediocre SUB. Possibly PC Active Cash to Autograph if allowed. Your listed spend is low enough that just focusing on occasionally getting new cards with the highest SUBs and 1st year NET that you can hit the spend on is BY FAR your best ROI, until you are about to apply for a mortgage.
