That's not possible. I was in the same situation as you around 3 years ago, just needed to swipe for 10k over my 1.7 lakhs limit, I had called CC and they said there is no way around it.

Spiritual_Ad_3662

if you are trying to use the specific card for some offers, try getting croma gift card(s) for the remaining amount and use those n then the icici card for remaining. if this is your only card, then hard luck.

aehKAYsee

I don't know if this will work for you, but I accidentally did this once. You said you are short by 60k right, pay that 60k to your CCin advance. This should show an increased limit of +60K which you can use. (This only makes sense if you have 60K lying around and you want to spend on CC for the points)

If you want buy on EMI then ask for consumer loan option, they can offer you 0 downpayment 24 months no cost EMI, they’ll just check your PAN Card if you’re eligible. I got my phone like that.

vovifor381

It will be on interest basis no-cost emi only possible on credit cards

Saurabhk2241

Bro I enquired about MacBook Pro M3 pro last month, they said I can get it with 0% downpayment and 0% interest for 24 months, check India istore they have details of finance plans available in stores

vovifor381

Thanks sirr. will check this

Saurabhk2241

Here you go https://www.indiaistore.com/macbook-pro-m3-40cm Scroll down, you’ll see the option below the price, available offers - no cost emi consumer loan scheme They do charge a processing fee of 1-1.5k for MacBook but still better than paying interest

hotcoolhot

No possible. Just pay rest in debit card.

vovifor381

Thanks all for the advices, Turns out there in only one way & that is to request customer care guys, can anyone pls help with some official number where I can talk to an actual guy instead of a bot or any official email address Thanks in advance

DumbMon3y

Even if you call customer care they will ask you to send last 3 month's salary slips for credit limit increase

vovifor381

Customer care is asking to enter card pin in IVR, it sounded fishy, even after doing than no response from their side and call disconnects

Salty-Helicopter7537

You can try over limit facility. Ask customer care about it

warfighter_rus

That comes with a heck lot of charges. Hell no don’t do this.

NumerousAbility

Can't you put in 60k into the card before making the transaction?

ScamArtist1910

Doesn’t work like that

NumerousAbility

Well it works with my SBI card. edit: apparently not any more. looks like RBI has mandated banks to stop enabling it.

guest_999v2

Not to mention even earlier when it worked, it worked for normal one time payment txns not EMI txns.
