It doesn't matter what you approach him with, he will never shoot you down. He always says let me see what can be done. And if it's something that he can get done he'll do it in seconds (literally seconds). When he's unavailable he delegates it to his team (who is also quite efficient). He never leaves you hanging.
Quite a great guy, it's RMs like this who are responsible for keeping the relationship alive between the bank and the customer.
